Hours: West Valley Arts Council | Arts HQ Gallery is a 501c3 nonprofit that serves the 13 municipalities of the West Valley. It acts as an advisor and advocate for inclusive art and culture, creates and facilitates innovative arts education programs, serves as a resource for local artists, and provides leadership in identifying trends and impact of art and culture in the West Valley. Through strategic partnerships, the organization uses its resources to connect and strengthen communities by growing art and cultural opportunities that include all people. Visitors describe the gallery as small and quiet, but definitely worth a visit. The staff, particularly Daisy B., are knowledgeable about the different pieces and artists, and they offer insights without being intrusive. The venue also hosts delightful lunch concerts, such as the one by the talented trio WE3, which was met with enthusiasm from the fun-loving audience. First-time visitors have expressed their desire to return, praising the friendly people, great music, and the almost intimate space. The gallery features work from many local artists and offers a full schedule of free, kid-friendly activities. While the outdoor exhibit space was previously enjoyed, the reconfigured venue is still a good place to visit in Surprise.
