Ignore the most recent 1-star. They don't know the different a regular vet and an emergency hospital and blamed All Star for their ignorance. Now on to my review: They're great. Their prices are phenomenal, their availability is phenomenal, and their vet is great with my cats. No upselling or hard pushes on additional services, they care about your pets wellbeing and are not out for profiteering. Nothing but great things.

We have used All-Star since they opened. They have cared for all of our cats and dogs. I would only trust Dr. Kyra & Dr. Matt with my babies. They are the best!

So greatful we found this office. Everyone is so kind, compassionate and caring & are literally interested in the BEST for your fur babies. Our previous vet would push allergy shot, steroid's, and anti fungal stuff if/we my boy had a bad allergy flare up. But the vets here don't want to add all that unnecessary stuff if it's not needed, specially because my old man is 10. This whole time just an allergy shot would work amazing. He also ended up and a hematoma that the emergency vet scared me into thinking he needed an $1800 surgery, but thankfully we didn't do it and got him into his vet because he didn't need the surgery. Both my boys have had surgery, one a dental cleaning & removing of some things growing on his gums, and a neuter for the baby and both have gone great. They call to check in and the babies the day after surgery and even checked in on the hematoma a day later. So grateful we found this place, they are truly all about the health and safety of the animals and not out for money (which is very hard to come by these days)

I recently had a horrible experience with All-Star Animal Hospital and I would suggest running away from this vet as quickly as you can. They are not there for their clients when we need them the most...in an emergency. My cat, Moonie, had been a patient there for for several years with no problems. However, last week I noticed she had stopped eating and drinking for two days. When I called All-Star on a Thursday afternoon during business hours to request an urgent appointment and told them what I had noticed with my cat I was told sorry....we can't see her until Monday. When I told them Moonie would be dead by Monday, again, I was told sorry...there is nothing they could do and then I was referred to an urgent care facility in Surprise which always has a minimum wait time from 4-5 hours. All-Star couldn't have cared less about my cat. Run away from this vet hospital and never look back. You'll be glad you did because they are not there when their clients need them the most

I can be a bit picky about vets after all I'm 70 yrs old and I have owned dogs and cats for 50 years. Today my GSD, Silver and I went to meet Dr Matt Erickson! Wow my very picky dog loved him and I was super impressed with everything from the front desk, the friendly and competent vet tech to the knowledgeable and super nice Dr. Erickson. Silver received her rabies vax, a titer test for distemper immunity and a look at a small bump which thankfully was diagnosed as a harmless sebaceous cyst. Great service. Friendly people. And Chicago Cubs memorabilia office decor! Yes .. this former Chicagoan and Cubs fan was very impressed and so happy to find such a great veterinarian almost right in our backyard! Thank you 5 Stars for All-Star

Although I can't imagine being a veterinarian and having the responsibility of figuring out how to help an animal in pain, I have to say I believe Dr. Macey misread the signs and symptoms of our 13 mo. old pup, Nigel. He took a fall 4 April 23 launching off the couch while playing with his cousin that resulted in a visible limp. We were able to get him seen at All-star the following day with Dr. Macey. On exam she noted "good range of motion of all joints" and "very mild lameness on the right hind leg." When we asked about getting X-rays, Dr. Macey said it wasn't necessary. When I tried to get her to reconsider by saying "well, how much are they anyway?", she adamantly refused saying "I'm not going to do an X-ray". We were given an NSAID and advised to rest the leg. Over the next few weeks Nigel slipped a couple of times on the tile and seemed as though his back legs were getting weaker by the day. He had no appetite and he was limping on his left leg. We called All-Star back to get him seen again, 18 May 23, this time with Dr. M Erickson. Dr. Erickson examined Nigel and noted "very thin hind end" with a physical exam "wnl". His plan was to rule out Valley Fever before doing X-rays. The results came back negative so we wanted to schedule the X-rays according to plan. We were told the Erickson's are on vacation and Dr. Macey won't be in until Tuesday because of Memorial Day, causing another delay in Nigel's care. Even when we finally got the X-rays, Dr. Macey noted some "lytic areas" on the left hip. We were referred to an orthopedic surgeon. Upon viewing the X-rays taken at All-Star, he concluded Nigel broke both hips and he would need surgery. So, would the results have been the same had Dr. Macey agreed to perform the X-rays 8 weeks earlier? Yes, I believe Nigel still would have required surgery. But I also believe Nigel would have endured less pain and his recovery would have been quicker as he would have more muscle strength. If I can make a suggestion to improve care patients receive at All-Star, I would say: 1) Listen to the owner of the pet. If they're asking for X-rays and are willing to pay for them, do it. 2) Get to know a radiologist you can send your X-rays to. You may not be an expert at reading them yourself, so rely on a specialist.

I took my new puppy here for his first shots and check up. Everyone, and I mean everyone, from the moment I stepped in, was kind and helpful. Everything was clean and my puppy (10 mo old) was given a treat and the shots were easy-peasy. I asked if they had recommendations for a dog trainer (the pup has no manners) and they gave me cards for three people but highly recommended one. I've also been on the other side of the dog life cycle and several years ago had to put our sweet girl to sleep due to advanced cancer. They were kind and compassionate. We were able to stay with our girl to the end. They gave us a sweet memento of our dog's paw print. So from the beginning of life to the end, I recommend.

We are new to the are and made an appointment with All-Star. The front desk staff was very friendly and helped me get my dogs records from his previous vet with no hassle. They were understanding of one of my dogs auto-immune condition. We saw Dr Erickson and he was so nice!!

We recently moved here to Arizona in June. Our 2 multpoo needed shots updated and a growth on our oldest. We were able to schedule in 3 weeks and we didn't try until November after all the snow birds came back. We had a great experience and the dogs were well taken care of. We know have our new Veterans for life.

One star (I wish I could give Zero stars) I've never had such horrible experiences in my entire life. First series of visits was for my 16 year old cat. Had a running nose and sneezing. The doctor gave her a shot and said she would be fine. 2 weeks later, he gave her an antibiotic. (nothing was working) after 6 weeks, I brought her back only for them to say she had a tumor in her nose and they could do nothing about it. A week later we had to put her down. (a friend of mine said her cat had the same thing, but if caught early, they can remove the tumor and save the cat from a painful death.) Second visit: Our entire visit was awful. The Vet tech was rude and seemed put out to have to weigh my cat. After I took my cat out of his carrier, she threw the cat carrier on the bench, scaring my dog, as he was sitting on the bench and it hit him. When the Vet came in to talk with me about my dog and cat, she was extremely dismissive about my pets previous medical records from their vet in WI (we moved here last year). It was like she didn't read their histories or even care about them. When she gave my dog his oral vaccine, half of it squirted out the side of his mouth and went all over the table, which she didn't wipe up or even notice... She left the two used syringes on the counter when she left. When the vet tech brought my cat back from bloodwork, my cats entire chest was soaked in Rubbing Alcohol! (which is poisonous if ingested) It took 5 paper towels to dry my cat off. When I asked her about the Rubbing alcohol, she said it's normal. In all the years I've had cats, never once have I had a cat soaked or even wet when they've returned. (My cat has kidney failure, so if it licked up the wetness it would have been so bad!) When the vet tech came back with my dog, she threw the leash on the ground instead of handing it to me, blurted out instructions for medication and then left, slamming the door... not telling me if I was supposed to wait for the results of bloodwork or if the appointment was over. The vet tech and vet were very rude, short and dismissive. I've never had such a horrible experience in my life. I do not recommend this vet clinic. (Next Day Follow up:) Follow up - the Vet called today with Bloodwork results. She kept called my cat a She even after I corrected her. She admitted multiple times that she didn't write things down yesterday, during our appointment and that she forgot this and that.... She made recommendations for a medication that is a nerve agent for my cats arthritis. My cat walks fine, so medication is not needed at this time. (again, something she failed to note the day before)

AWFUL! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE!! Starting with the front desk staff who appear to have lackluster personalities and little empathy for you or your pets to the lack of empathy or concern from the doctors themselves, this is NOT a good place to take your furry kids. I have never NOT received a followup call a day or two after a major medical procedure on my pets from the multiple other vets I have had. Just to see how my pet was feeling and doing. Just a reminder that hey we care about your pet etc.. Ever. Additionally, in person followups were always scheduled by previous vets to ensure no complications. My cat had 10 teeth pulled due to severe dental disease. No one called to see how she was doing nor was the cat scheduled for a followup exam. I contacted the vet and was told that they stopped doing the followup exam and they had us on their schedule to do an over the phone followup in a few days. HOWEVER, if I hadn't heard from them in a few days to call them back. Really? So NO physical exam and I need to call THEM to remind them they hadn't called me yet? I was told that at the phone exam to let them know of any problems the cat is having. Cat owners know that cats hide problems. This cat had 10 rotting teeth and it took a thorough exam to find it. Does this vet honestly think I'll be able to determine if sutures are healing properly or if infection hasn't set in? I am incensed at the quality of this vet. Absolutely terrible. If the owners aren't aware of how their staff is running the front of the office I hope they read this. I am going elsewhere.
