“Love this shop!!!!! Here visiting from Central Florida and bought this dress and several other items. My friends loved it!!! I can't wait to go back and see what I can find! Friendly service and large selection of items!!!”
“I've driven past this place numerous times but it kind of blends in with all the other building so I've never stopped until today after seeing some items displayed outside. I feel like they need a flashing neon sign or something to alert passers by. Anyway this place is overwhelming. There's a similar place in Bisbee but I feel like this shop has a lot more niche and unique items, to include some clothing and more water themed items. An employee said I could put my first item on the counter and they would put it into a cube that you pick up alupin checkout, so I did that and brought more stuff up to the front which was too big for the cube so those items were left on the counter. Problem here is that you have to know what item you set aside and identift it for them to pull it out of the cube. This could lead to someone buying another customers items if they so covet them, and would take some attention to detail to prevent this. The cubes are numbered for some reason even though they don't use numbers and didn't tell me what my number was. I think a system similar to hotel luggage checks might work better, where customers bring up items to check in and they are given a numbered card or keychain (or something) that corresponds to the cube with their stuff in it. I recommend larger cubes or even bins because a lot of items are larger and simply don't fit so these are just left on the counter and someone else could come up and mistakenly, or intentionally, claim those items. It took me at least 30 minutes to make my way through every nook and cranny and I still didn't have time to closely look at everything. They have a lot of Christmas items on sale during this season, otherwise a lot of vintage items. Prices are high on some items and it's hard to know the accuracy of these appraisals, but most items seem reasonably priced. Lots of custom made items as well. There's an outside bay as well with a lot of stuf. Only critique would be better organization could help customers find things more easily. Rather than going through the entire store looking for model cars, for instance (because they are all over the place, literally), they could all be in one section for ease of discovery. Same with the Western style items, clothing, toys, and everything else. Some items don't really have a category, and some seem to be more organized like there's a whole section for brooches and Christmas, Coka Cola stuff is all in one place. However there's glass displays all over the shop with tons of items and it's just hard to take the measure of it all. Honestly it's stimulus overload and it can lead to choice paralysis. I imagine some people buy one or more items, but many customers probably leave with nothing in hand and don't make it through the entire store because shopping here is overwhelming. The outside bays seem cluttered like an eternal garage sale. If it were more organized it would easier to browse and find things. Now Goodwill and other thrift chains are not antique shops but they do have immaculate organization, and with good reason. People know where to look for what they want and aren't wasting time searching through every rack and shelf. By the end I had quite a few items and happy with purchases, although it would be nice to be able to return clothing if it doesn't fit (I bought a jacket as a gift). Having baskets to shop with would be convenient, unless this is not offered to prevent theft which is understandable.”
