I meant to post this two months ago. We like to come visit Tombstone at least once a year. This was the first time we've stayed here, and we will probably stay here again! The lady at the front desk was very nice. We booked two rooms back in December and the rooms were great. One room had been recently remodeled and was perfect for our daughter. We stayed in the Maureen O'Hara room and we liked history of it. ( it's the only room that has a tub) One thing that we thought was nice was that the owner left Christmas Cards in our rooms welcoming us to her hotel. I thought that was such a personal touch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Tombstone.

We stayed in the Mustang room.. very cute two bedroom room. It was clean and just perfect for an overnight trip. Just a heads up though.. its haunted.. our tv turned on in the middle of the night even though the remote control was far from anyone. It turned on several more times during the night and after I said , "enough" it stopped.. but then our heater turned itself off a few minutes later...jokester ghosts. I myself found it pretty cool.. it fits this cool little town. They did give us some cookies upon arrival.. it was a bummer though they were about 20-25 minutes late letting us into our room. We called the number on the office door and they accomodated us quickly..I think they were a little short handed. Overall we had a great time.

I don't require much when I travel but one of the things I expect is a comfortable bed and a decent chair to rest in after a day of travel. This hotel provided neither. I ended up cutting my trip to Tombstone short by a day because when I woke up after the first night, I had to go find a chiropractor. The bed they had in my room must have been one of the original beds from the 1950s because it was horrible. The chair was so dirty I didn't even want to lay my coat on it.

We decided to stay one night here and it was very nice. A great price and overall an amazing vibe. Our room was gorgeous and exactly what we needed for a full nights rest after wondering around tombstone.?there were mentions of fresh baked cookies on the website but we did not receive any lol. That’s perfectly fine we didn’t get any. ?Only downside is our room was so cold. Even with the heater on it was like the bed was too far for the heat to reach. We made due! And the bathroom was freezing unless the shower was on.Also if the shower was on and someone flushed the toilet the toilet wouldn’t flush. And if you flushed the toilet right after a shower the shower would squirt out a bunch of water. So that was a little weird!Otherwise this place was amazing, very well decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable! The check in and check out process was super easy. We reserved online, checked in at 4pm with a very nice lady, and the check out is easy you just drop your key off at the office. The history behind this motel is amazing! To hear that John Wayne and Miss O’Hara from McClintock stayed here is so cool!Thank you for the wonderful stay!Rooms: Beautiful, cozy, romantic, perfect ?Nearby activities: Everything tombstone!Walkability: Easy 5-10 min walk to Allen street the main area for tombstone activities!

Overall we enjoyed our visit and would potentially stay here again. A few complaints were; We got checked in and given our keys to find out room hadn't been attended by housekeeping. Front desk said it would be an hour. There were no cookies as advertised. The heater had poor instructions and took ten minutes to start after we figured it out. While waiting, we discovered there's no one in the office after 6. We called the after hours number and got no answer. They did call back, but by that time the heater had started working on its own. It's obvious that one of the two beds was not changed by housekeeping as we saw it before and after they cleaned the room. There were no trash can liners in the garbages. We felt bad throwing things in them but didn't have any plastic bags with us and again, no one in the office.

We stayed here on Dec. 9 for the Christmas in Tombstone. The only complaint I have is that we ran out of hot water 3 minutes into my wife's shower. It took over 5 min of running the water for it to be warm enough to get in the shower. Needless to say, I had to just wipe down as cold showers are not my favorite thing. This would have been 5 stars had the hot water would have not been an issue.

Within walking distance of Fremont street where all the action is. Quiet area to return to. Clean and updated rooms but still has the decor of the period. We booked the Doc Holiday room and it was excellent.

We are so grateful for coming to Sagebrush Inn, we decided to come here for our 9 year anniversary. I am so thankful they made accommodations for us with roses, chocolate, and wine. We appreciate everyone at Sagebrush Inn. Well, be definitely coming back. So peaceful and tranquil. I highly recommend coming here and enjoying the time so many things to do. Discover the history of Tombstone and enjoy everything this town has to offer.

We loved it...It's a laid back, remote Arizona hotel with plenty of history of it's own within easy walking distance of historic downtown Tombstone. Not one of the more "cookie-cutter" types of modern hotels, it's a really well cared for property with local owners putting in the time to renovate and maintain, with plenty of amenities and an Arizona desert charm. Having returned from our trip we've already recommended it to a couple of friends who are looking to visit Tombstone, and should we ever visit again we'll be booking at the Sagebrush Inn again.

If you're expecting a Marriott or a Hilton, this ain't it! But this vintage motor lodge serves as the perfect base for taking in the sights and sounds of Tombstone. The "front desk" is open only from 2pm-6pm. If you arrive before 2pm to check-in, you'll have to wait. Arrive after 6pm and they put the keys in an envelope on your room door. Did I say, "keys?" Yup, the rooms use old-school physical keys, just like your grandparents used to have.Be warned: some of the rooms are VERY SMALL (think midtown Manhattan hotel). If you can, get room #5, the "Maureen O'Hara" room. Not only it is large with a kitchenette and a bathtub, it has its own separate parking space.

Someone else had control of my tv. I was awoken at midnight by someone changing the channels and increasing the volume. When I would turn it down, they would turn it back up a few seconds later. It was either shared with other rooms or a previous guest still had access to the smart TV somehow. Absolutely ridiculous that I had to fight over control of the TV in my room with a stranger.Room was small and somewhat clean, otherwise. There was a smoke alarm beeping throughout the night. Not a pleasant experience.
