The rest area is a basic rest area on I-10 heading toward California. It has clean toilets and clean restrooms, a few vending machines that are well stocked, and information boards that are interesting to read. There is shade but not much, and the view is not too bad with blue skies and nice views. People can stretch legs, stretch feet, and walk a dog in the dog walking area, though a sign warns no pets beyond this area because of poisonous snakes and scorpions. The space has plenty of spaces, cars on one side, trucks on the other, and a super hot desert.
