Having to return things to any store is not the highlight of anyone’s day. It would be nice and would help the customer feel appreciated for an employee to go above and beyond in certain circumstances. I shop at Ace to help a local business knowing I could save money by going to a box store or Walmart. I needed to return a couple items that were purchased at a location far from where I was at, needless to say they told me I had to take it back to where it was purchased from. Incredibly inconvenient, which doesn’t happen with big box stores. Now I have to drive across town to do the return with gas I don’t have. Now I’m told that the return “has” to be returned to the card, which will take days to reach the acct. I paid for the items using a debit card, which is the same as using cash. I have recently started a small business and every time I need something, I would go to Ace. Not anymore, I’m over paying considerably more for items to just be inconvenienced if something needs to be returned. Paying $7 for steel wool that costs $5 other places is ridiculous. It would have been nice to feel like my business and sacrifice was appreciated. I guess that’s why they call it going above and beyond, because it takes effort. How hard would it have been to bring a manager over and at least try to help figure it out. Ace is the place where I will no longer pay even more inflated prices just to be inconvenienced and unappreciated. How many customers can Ace lose before it becomes an issue?

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The store is clean and they have a little bit of everything for DIY and home projects. It's my go-to ACE.

When I entered the store a grumpy elder cashier complained loudly to her colleague of how lousy her day was going. Unfortunately at checkout I get her, and I happen to forget my coupon. It's not the end of the world, but I do still want the discount so I'm going to have to come back. The grumpy cashier muttered some incredulous comments loud enough for everyone to hear. It's unprofessional, and I don't think I'll return after all.

I have been shopping at this location since it opened and I am always satisfied with the associates there. The cashiers are always friendly and the floor staff always take time to answerer my questions.

This is my Ace store where I can ALWAYS get great help and advice on my many projects. They have things for my vehicles that not even places like Auto Zone have (fender and bumper clips to name just a couple). The prices are a higher than say, Home Depot, but the convenience of the Ace location and the great service/help easily offset this. How many times have you gone to stores like Home Depot and you can't locate the items or find help, and usually the help is NOT knowledgeable about what you need? Jim at this Ace is my go to guy..he knows a LOT and has never failed to solve my problems or find what I need. If you want GREAT customer service this is the store for you. In fact, go to any Ace close to where you live and check them out...I think you will be pleased.

The store's personal is very helpful and friendly always ready to help. They are in the neighborhood and I like shopping there for the things I need.
