Had a mechanical problem with my rental, and they got me in a new vehicle in about 10 minutes, so it didn't even put me that far behind schedule. I was very pleased with their service.

My 1 star is due to the policy of REQUIRING a secondary number (a recent requirement as when I rented in November 2023, they did NOT require a second number) and the Area Manager’s responses indicating he views it as “simply a second number”. I have no alternative phone number and the insistence to give a friend or family member’s data, something they have not consented to, in order to leverage the relationship because 1. the car wasn’t returned on time (a matter for the law and law enforcement for violating contractual agreement), 2. an emergency happens (in which case, emergency personnel will have access to my EMERGENCY contact, and this policy lists it as a SECONDARY contact).Ultimately the conversation turned to “we are a private company and no one is forcing you to rent from us”, which indicates a clear dismissal when trying to express privacy concerns for people offering numbers they are only connected to by association with the owners.I understand the liability concerns that occur with renting out vehicles and the company’s vested interest in receiving their property in accordance with the contract established by the renter and the company. What I don’t appreciate is the threat to cancel reservations made months in advance, budgeted for, and in some cases already paid, thus pressuring and intimidating people into offering contact to parties that have not consented to being contacted and are not part of the rental agreement.The staff at the kiosk were otherwise very accommodating in assuring my rental was available and adjusted the totals that were not adding up to what I was quoted at, the facility was clean and orderly, and the car rented was more than adequate. I’m disappointed that privacy concerns have deterred further business relations with this company.

From car rental through Costco to actual pick up and drop off at Alamo, all employees as Ellise, Avery and others created a smooth transition especially dealing with seniors. Communication, professionalism, friendly, respectful, helpful will make Alamo a return experience!Thank-you!

The suv did not have a full tank of gas when we picked it up but pick up was smooth and fast. Got up graded and out fast. Drop off was quick also.

Overall good experience. Less than 5 minute wait in line. Linda was pleasant and no attempt at an upsell. They didn't have the midsize SUV I reserved, so she had to go to Enterprise. It took about 10 minutes, but she found a Jeep Grand Cherokee for me. She gave good directions for me to quickly find the car. The car had a couple of minor issues, but they gave me a $50 credit on a 9 day rental. Manager got back to me via email quickly answering a couple of questions. Returning the car was easy enough. My only recommendation is better signage on exactly where to return the cars.

Renting a car can be a hassle. Alamo was my best experience by far. Best value, customer service, and quality vehicle. This all took place at the Tuscan Airport in Arizona. Pre-pay and check in online prior to arrival. Quick process and professional.

From start to finish of my 6 week rental I had nothing but a very positive experience renting from this location. We were treated with a 22 Jeep Waggoner which was fun to drive and could hold our entire family. Both pick up and drop off were a breeze and every employee we encountered was friendly and caring. I was also very pleased to find employees waiting at the return prior to the listed 5am opening. A great rate through Costco and a very positive experience.

Alamo service representatives were excellent on this trip to Tucson. Christine greeted us warmly and quickly got us into our rental car, she did offer an upgrade and other amentities which we declined . She was not pushy but considerate and directed us to where we could get our car and gave us her card in case we had any issues while in Tucson. I failed to get the name of the young man who greeted us when I returned the car at 5am but he was bright, smiling and personable. Confirmed our quoted price and said they would email a receipt. Probably the best experience I've had with Alamo .

Very clean and friendly desk personnel. Easy pickup easy drop off in Tucson. The only thing I should have done is refueled my car instead of prepay.

I had a great experience at this location. It's been forever and a few years since I rented a car, but the staff at Tucson Alamo made it really easy. Friendly, helpful, answered all my questions, quick check-in (they accommodated me arriving early - thank you, Nila), and simple and painless drop off. Plus, I loved the car I got to enjoy for a week. If I'm back in Tucson, I'll be back to this location.

To be honest my rental in Tucson didn't start well.We had a tire that was losing air as we drove in a rainstorm to Sedona.After putting air in the tire multiple times we called the emergency line who referred us to an Enterprise establishment in Sedona the next morning who ended up switching the car out.This took the entire morning because they wanted to try to fix the tire first.The tire was cracked and could not be replaced.Once the car was switched we had no further issues but we felt we should be reimbursed for the time lost when we returned the car in Tucson.We first spoke with Jameson who was very professional who then referred us to Seth the manager.He was very apologetic and understood that it was really an inconvenience for us and made it his top priority to make sure we left completely satisfied.He resolved the issue fairly and turned an unpleasant experience into a positive one by being calm,professional and completely understanding of our situation.Things like faulty tires can happen no matter where you rent the car.People make or break how you come away from an experience and Jameson and Seth represented Alamo in a professional manner.Based on that experience,we recommend Alamo.
