Like stepping back in time, this store looks like it hasn't been updated since the '60s. At times claustrophobic, I question if the checkout lines are even ADA compliant

Seems there are consistently out of products lately. The two staff I interacted with were either stressed or just unhappy. I tried to communicate with the cashier and her facial expressions and demeanor painted me as a bother purchasing items. She also had challenges with working with a rain check and accurate pricing.

Check out gal was rude. She acted like I bothered her. I had to put something back. It was only a dollar something left to pay, but I literally did not have any more money. She was pushing buttons hard enough, I'm surprised they didn't break off. I kept calm and even said thank you when handed the receipt after saying I'm sorry several times. She slung the basket around her to get to me. As I walked away, she became super happy and greeted the lady behind me as if she were the queen.

I had took a break from my job and I went inside to use the restroom and buy a drink and a snack, and I was thinking of buying a couple of stuff for the house, But the the moment a lady that was stocking saw me she gave me a weird look and started to follow me and watch me in a discriminating way, like if I was going to steal or do something wrong. I went to the restroom and when I came out she was there watching me. I felt so horrible that it sad. And the worst part of all was that I was the only person of color so I knew that I was targeted. I am writing this right now with tears in my eyes. I never felt so horrible in my life, me been 35 years of age and living a good honest life feeling so discriminated like that.

There were only 5 people in the store and I probably had a bad interaction with every single one of them. Asked for help from one person who asked two people who spent 15 minutes not looking at all or even searching on their phone only to tell me the item didn’t exist. The cashier broke the cash register when I tried to pay and the other cashier spent 15 minutes yelling at her and serving several people who came after me at a working register before finally deciding I was allowed to be served at the working register. I wouldn’t have reviewed if it was one bad experience but there were probably 5 people in the store and I had a bad interaction with every single one of them. Not to mention the first cashier kept snatching my phone out of my hand without asking to scan a code on my phone. Snatching the phone once could be a slip, but the number of times it happened was clearly a lack of care for my property.

I’ve been shopping weekly at Albertson’s on La Cholla for over 20 years. It’s always a positive experience: clean store, helpful friendly employees, fresh fruits & veggies, great selection. Love the seafood counter and the bakery is fabulous. They have gone out of their way to make me specialty birthday cakes. Albertson’s often have sales and the app enables me to take advantage of even better sales. Yes, prices tend to be lower at Walmart, but I much prefer the service and fresh produce at Albertson’s. Besides they don’t force you to check out your own groceries or stand in a long line like Walmart does.

Like all of the big chain grocery stores, Albertson's has multiple hoops that customers have to jump through to get their weekly deals. Want to get the ice cream deal, only available on Fridays. Want to get the blueberry deal, gotta buy 4. Want to clip the deals, gotta scroll through 171 of them to find the ones you want. Want to use some points, gotta use them or lose them...unless you pay a monthly fee. Last week out of 1/2 gallon milk so had to buy a gallon to get the deal. For those who don't use a cell phone or can't jump through the other hoops, expect to pay more. The confusing prices and rules result in predatory pricing in the hopes the customer won't notice or won't take the time to get a refund. Today I was one of three people at the Customer Service desk getting an issue fixed. The staff has always been professional and friendly and the store is clean. Their website says "easy peasy shopping". Don't count on it.

New app is terrible. The whole point thing is confusing and savings considerably less. At least 4 items were advertised on sale in store as “just for you”, but did not appear on app so NO savings. In addition, 2 items checked on app did NOT provide the savings at checkout.
Who’s driving all the way back to the store to complain? Bait ‘n switch.

We ordered a Tres Leches cake for my daughter's 30th birthday, she gets them every year, they are her favorite. She said this was the best cake she has ever had. Truly beautiful fresh delicious cake. Great job.

Walked up to the customer service desk where it said to see a cashier. The cashier couldn’t help me and called to a supervisor where she said customer service was closed and they could come back tomorrow. I have never in my life heard a manager say customer service was closed. I shall take my business elsewhere since you like to close customer service during business hours. Albertsons will never see a dime of my money even if it means traveling a little bit further.

We wasted a trip out to cash in lottery tickets and were told by the person working the customer service desk that “customer service is closed, come back tomorrow”. It was only 7:00 in the evening. This is the last time I will go to Albertsons since they are incapable of offering services during their operating hours.
