Bruce is a con artist. He changes the price based on his assessment of the customer. IMO his association with the truth is very limited and I learned to not to believe a word he says. Needless to say, I will never recommend him. He has lied to me twice now and I don't recommend him at all. His greed is very obvious, and I have to remind him the price he initially quoted me. He is a fast talker (literally) and tries to come off as friendly but epically fails. Bruce was too cheap to even give me a copy of the sales contract. He just insisted that I take a picture of it with my phone. I had the same or similar experience as StaceyLee, Dolores, David W, and Roxanna D. He offers food at "a better price than the pet store." Then, he brings out a zip loc bag with kibble and live insects in it and says "just freeze it for a few days it will kill the insects ..." I don't want to kill anything deliberately including insects and I don't want anything from this very shady operation. Not to mention that he was terrible about returning messages. I cut him some slack at first but will never go back and tell people to avoid him at all costs. IMHO he is NOT a reputable breeder or businessperson. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I wish I could give him zero stars.

The gratitude I feel for reuniting my son with his bird can not be spoken or measured. Thank you! This is an amazing place with beautiful birds!! Bruce really cares about the birds and making sure they find the homes they truly deserve.

I purchased a stunning baby cockatiel from Arizona Parrots. They had several pretty and unique colors to choose from. Being hand raised, my bird is super nice and ready to interact. Don’t waste your time buying from a big pet store, if you’re looking for a bird make an appointment with Arizona Parrots.

My family and I purchased a beautiful Sun Conure from Arizona Parrots! Bruce and his team did an excellent job weening and training this bird. Bruce also took the time to make sure we were comfortable handling and caring for our new family member. We highly recommend Arizona Parrots for anyone seriously interested in parrots and bird training.

If I could give a zero star I would. I had the exact same experience as David W. They saw a s***** coming. I was up front that I knew nothing about birds and wanted to learn. I paid extra for lessons and was taught an archaic way that does not foster a trusting relationship with the bird. I paid for a 12 week old hand tamed bird and the vet informed me that I had an old wild breeder bird. Do not go here. I had to rehome the bird with an amazing breeder and now have two young tame birds

DO NOT SHOP HERE. This place deserves 0 stars. The owner is a scam artist looking to prey on unsuspecting people just wanting to bring a parrot into their family. Do yourself a favor and look for a parrot elsewhere.

Bruce was absolutely wonderful helping my daughter feel comfortable before taking her new cockatiel home. He took the time to show her how to train him, and answered every question we had. We would definitely recommend Arizona Parrots.

Horrible experience. I wanted a hand-tamed cockatiel. Instead, this man pushed a "artistic" looking one on me. I figured he knew better, so I went along with it. He showed me this really rough towel training method where you basically continuously catch, hold for a while, and release, repeating until the bird is too scared to leave you and be caught again. Well, I had my cockatiel die and my partner's budgie from this method. He then offered to sell me a second tiel, and this one was even less tame than the first. Basically a wild bird. I ended up surrendering her as she only got meaner and was attacking my head. I don't know how my friend had a good experience here, but I will never go to him again. Having animals die in our hands was a scarring experience, and his training methods are archaic

I bought my beloved sun conure almost 6 months ago now and he is amazing addition to my family. The owner of Arizona parrots is so calm and patient, also very understanding. He has helped me understand certain things I need to do with training my bird and taking care of him.

I bought my African Grey Parrot from Bruce when he was seven weeks old. We just came back three years later for training. Obi is doing great we couldn't be more proud he is well behaved and says over 60 words already. Bruce worked with Obi and us to help train him to be an even better bird. Bruce is a 10 out of 10 and no one could get a better quality of parrot then from him.

I've bought birds from PetSmart, Tropical Kingdom and now Arizona Parrots and I have to say this has been one of my most favorite and treasured experiences in my life. Bruce was awesome, and very knowledgeable. The birds were all beautiful and well taken care of. He coached us before we left, and is open to our questions. He even offers classes and I'm hoping to take them as soon as possible. Overall, I cannot recommend Arizona Parrots enough! Definitely 10/10 experience, and worth every penny. So excited about having expanded our flock with Arizona Parrots!

Bruce says the birds are trained but they aren't, he tries to train the money making birds as quickly as he can when he found out how interested I was. He wanted $690 for a white face "art" cockatiel, then told me he's selling for $590. He was in a big rush to sell too because I didn't have the cage yet and wanted it set up before getting the bird, he persuaded me to buy one of his homemade ones to keep it in until I got the cage. I knew there were red flags but as soon as I saw the bird, I wanted him. The bird is beautiful, I took him to an avian veterinarian for a thorough check up to make sure he's healthy. I found out that my sister in law bought her cockatiel from one of Bruce's staff for $300 last year and her bird is a beautiful white face but unable to be trained, she has a cockatiel from Tropical Kingdom that's fully tame. The fact I paid $600 for a cockatiel is outrageous, call me a fool for sure, that's what happens when you experience love at first sight.

I posted this on a FB bird group i belong to. You may want to rethink purchasing from him. Friday the 10th I drove to Tucson to pick up a 5/6 week old Sun Conure from the same breeder I purchased Pickles from. I arrived about 8:50a and called to let her know I was there. Cindy had him in a carrier and we had a discussion advising me what time she fed him formula and other food he was eating. I signed the paperwork and before I left she said he had a "scratch" on his beak from one of his parents so that was why he was pulled from the nest. When I got Pickles I asked for a disabled bird and that is what I came home with. I was told the baby had a "scratch" on his beak. I said that was OK, a scratch I can live with. I was an hour away from home so i stopped to give him a little water. I was shocked at what I saw and immediately sent a picture of his beak to Cindy and a text that I don't think I should pay full price. The text I received back "what is that?" She called and asked me again what was it and I told her it was a closeup picture of his beak. She said she didn't know it was that bad and she was sorry because she didn't look at it and she would never sell a bird like that. She apologized numerous times and said she would never sell a bird like that. I asked her if she had another baby and she said she had a couple of babies that were older and she knew that I wanted to hand feed a baby. She said she needed to check and see if she had any babies that were ready to go and she'd call me back. She called and what she had are too young and needed to stay with their parents a bit longer. She said about a week to a week and a half i could pick up a baby. She didn't want me to drive back to Tucson and empty handed and then drive back to pick up a baby. She wanted me to keep him and when the babies are ready to go I could bring him back. Let me sum this up even though there is a lot more to it. I sent a message saying I think $400 is a fair price due both sides of his beak had been hurt. I said he would need vet visits and his beak groomed. I got a call from Bruce he said I could keep him and he would give me $100 towards another bird or I could return him and get a baby I wanted. He said I was told about the beak, no I was told about a scratch. He said the contract stated the beak issue. The contract does not state anything about the beak. He told me he would get Cindy in the phone conversation tomorrow and he hung up. I went thru the messages from Arizona Parrots and I've come to the conclusion that Bruce and Cindy KNEW of Stitches injury and sold him as a bird with no disabilities. They stated in the FB message that Stitch was being handfed twice a day. They sent me a picture of him and stated he did not have any disabilities and was selling him for $640 When I picked up Stitch, Cindy told me he had a "scratch" on his beak from his parents and this is why she pulled him out of the nest. I started thinking about the messages and what she said. Message "he was still being fed 2xs a day" To me that means he had already been pulled from the nest. So they knew something was wrong with Stitches beak and passed it off as a "scratch". The picture they sent me you can see the issue. Zoom in and focus on his beak. Since they never told me about his beak in the messages I wouldn't have known to look for the "scratch" UPDATE: I took Bruce Enderle/Arizona Parrots and Cindy Salyers to small claims court. I present pictures, documents, text messages, phone logs, detailed driving log.. everything that I had I prepared for the judge. After it was all said and done the judge ruled for Arizona Parrots / Bruce Enderle. She did this because of the contract I signed. I learned some HUGE lessons: Don't ever think that someone who was nice (Bruce and Cindy) to you won't screw you if given the chance! Always always always check and recheck EVERYTHING!! Just because Bruce is a breeder does not mean he CARES for his birds. He is in busi
