A divine experience. Probably my favorite cafe of all time. The Wolverine Benedict and blueberry lemon pancakes are A++. Only things I've tried on the menu. The only negatives I have are it is busy, and the coffee wasn't as hot or bold for my taste would want.

It had been a minute since we had eaten here, and boy have things changed. We were greeted at the door with a sign informing us of a surcharge if credit/debit card was to be used.We walk in, it's not busy, and someone yells at us to just sit wherever we would like. (Apparently, she was too busy chatting)She comes to our table to take or drink order and introduce herself. We ordered our food, and she informed us that the Hasbrowns were "patties." (IE Frozen)When she brought the food to the table, the Bacon was undercooked, the Toast was bread with Margarine the Hasbrowns were as promised pre-frozen potatoish cake, and a yellow blob. (ALL COOL TO THE TOUCH AND FLAVORLESS)My husband's plate was a little better, but not by much.He ordered the Veggie Omlette plate. The veggies were raw, the toast was bread with Margarine, and the Home Fries were Pre-Frozen potatoes. But hey, his was hot.The waitress never returned to our table after she brought our food.1 more table (2 top came in she spent the remainder of the time chatting with them, as did th rest of the staff). It wasn't a total loss. My 2 bois (Dogs) really enjoyed their snack.

Baja Cafe is so good that it would be reasonable to move to Tucson to be near it.We had the Carmelo Brisket Benedict, the King Kong, and the Berry and Cheese Leige Waffle. The Carmelo Brisket and King Kong were amazing. They were both full of smoked meats. Both had delicious integrated flavors. I can’t say enough about how good they are.The Berry and Cheese Leige waffle was, by far, the best waffle that I have ever had. We didn’t use syrup and it was so good that you think about it after you leave. If you are in Tucson and don’t go to Baja Cafe you are missing out.

Such a gem. So glad I found this place, which is the original, vs eating at the pathetic breakfast at the hotel.

What an incredible breakfast! Brisket Caramelo (quesadilla). The Yosemite Sam Bloody Mary was da Bomb. Thick Chipotle Jalepeno Bacon is amazing. If you're a Vegan why would you even come here and leave a stupid review?

Some of the best food in Tucson can be found at Baja Cafe. We so much enjoyed the rich flavors of smoked pork belly, green chile and eggs for our breakfast. The service was top-notch and prices were reasonable. We did not have to wait too long for a table on a busy Saturday morning. We will return.
