I work across the street and I'm not trying to be obnoxious, but I don't have time to wait at an unmanned deli counter every day. I do wish I had the time, but after the 2nd time just standing there and waiting, I gave up and not coming back. I started door dashing and it's more expensive, but it's fast and I don't get behind in my work.

I have no clue how this location is open anymore. Went down hill about 5 years ago, fast.
There is nothing “fresh” about their produce section.
Everything is overpriced, in a clear attempt to make up for the lack of customers.
Someone at corporate needs to put this location out of its misery.

Lived in the area for a decade, but after a long decline, I’m finally done with Bashas. Prices had always been higher than the nearby Fry’s, but I put up with it to save a few minutes. I’ll go farther for a better experience.
First they cut down on staff so there’s never anyone to manage the self checkout. Then they got rid of the hand baskets for when you’re on a shorter shopping trip. Now they’re out of regular carts all the time and they’re chronic short staffing means no one ever collects them.
Clearly management here does not care about the customer experience, but scrimping on staff as much as possible.

Worst place to visit. I had purchased meat at the River and La Cholla store 10-14-25. Went to use it next day. Meat was brown. I took package to Swan and Camp Lowell. Angela customer service asked for receipt. I did not have one on me. She said I would have to take back where I purchased. But she said I will do this one and only time. I went back to find replacement and talked to the guy in meat department. Tod him what happened. He said it is not my problem. I can see why no one shops at this store. Rude people

9 MONTHS EXPIRED MILK?!?!?! I bought this 9-20-2025 just to have my daughter throw up about 10 minutes later and come to see its been expired 9 months. Inshouldve checked but I didnt expect expired milk to be front and center on the shelf. Don't know how many other children this store will get sick but if they let this happen, its gonna be a lot.

I made an order online for a work celebration. They totally ruined the order, and there was no notification despite putting in the order well in advance for that reason. Specifically, I ordered a bakery item over 24 hours in advance and it was marked as fulfilled. They literally DID have multiple in stock, the shopper was just too lazy to find THE THIRD ITEM of a THREE ITEM ORDER!!! Totally incompetent. I had to scramble and run to Fry's down the road. APPALLINGLY BAD SERVICE.

We visited the Bashas’ deli on Sept 8th at 2:05 pm, we ordered a couple sandwiches. I am not great with names. Our sandwiches were made with great care by a very nice woman. She took her time and they were perfect. She was so nice and knowledgeable about all deli items we asked about. We had almost stopped going to this chain because of a bad experience at the Sunrise location. We will definitely be back to this location!
