This motel has a surface on their handicap ramp that is like black ice when it gets wet. if you are a local, wet ceramic tiles might be something you watch out for but it's the non-locals that stay in your motels. I spent 6 hours in the ER with a fractured foot because of this ramp. I hope this serves as a warning to others so you don't have to go through the same fate. I have yet to hear from management whether there are plans to fix this problem. Linda B

Just DONT do it! This is one of the most disgusting hotels I've ever been in! Made our reservations through booking. We prepaid up front. When they needed my card for the $100 deposit I gave it to the front desk person. The front desk person tried to charge my card for the whole room again. We meticulously plan and keep just the amount of money that we plan on using the card for. So of course it declined. Then we had to wait for over 15-20 minutes to get that straightened out. My wife gave her CC card for the deposit and once again it wouldn't go through. She reiterated you are charging the 100 right? Front desk clerk said yes. Then she gave another card and it finally went through. She called her CC company and they said they never even tried to run it. Upon getting the room, the tub faucet leaked and could not be fixed. The room was filthy but we were so tired we just kept the room for the night. The floor was cracked, tile was coming from the wall it was just disgusting. The next morning we informed them about the issues and they gave us another bottom floor room. The room was a little a better but still the same issue with the tub. I put a towel so we wouldn't have to hear it all night but the refrigerator hummed all night. Now they are withholding the deposit probably because of all the reviews. We don't normally complain but this hotel is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting! Just don't stay here! Save your money! They do not want you staying at their hotel. This is the worst Best Western we've ever stayed in!

This surprised the heck out of me. I haven't been to a Best Western motel in years. This place was much more hotel-like on beautiful grounds on the foothills of the Catalinas. With the reasonable prices, I'd stay here again.

IF YOU WANT A SAFE, CLEAN, FAMILY HOTEL, DO NOT STAY HERE!! Upon arrival at the hotel, the exterior immediately raised concerns, signaling a far cry from the polished images showcased online. The red flags started to unfold. During check-in, there was a peculiar requirement to sign a disclaimer against engaging in illegal activities, including drug use, a policy that, while understandable, hinted at the hotel's problematic history. I even asked the staff if it was a safe area; they hesitated, looked at each other, and were like, Yeah, yeah, it's a safe area. However, the true extent of the disappointment was realized upon entering our room. Within mere minutes of exploration, my toddler's feet turned an alarming shade of black from the filth on the floors, a clear testament to the lack of cleanliness. The situation further deteriorated with the discovery of wet floors, a pervasive and unidentifiable odor, and a sticky remote control, all contributing to an environment that felt neglected and unsanitary. As I unloaded my vehicle, I watched an abandoned building my hotel faced have multiple people come in and out, clearly engaging in drug use of various flavors. I watched a vehicle pull up right in front of me, a guest hand cash, and a clear bag with white powder being handed without even caring that I was watching them nonchalantly do a deal. Then, to top it off, I witnessed prostitutes solicit and go to the room of a guest. Aside from that, there were parties going on with loud music, with at least one room filled with over a dozen guests. To top it off, we quickly found out the bathroom door handle was broken, posing a significant safety risk for my toddler. When these issues were brought to the hotel staff's attention, their response was that they would send their staff to resolve the problem. I tried to explain that it's not something that you could fix due to how it was broken. Their staff showed up dressed unprofessionally without any name tags, walked to the bathroom door, jiggled it, and said there was nothing he could do. I immediately contacted the hotel's front desk to get a resolution. Despite the glaring health and safety concerns, they refused a refund, arguing that the room met their standards through a supposed 'three-check system', a claim that seemed implausible given the condition of the room. Attempts to resolve these issues were met with resistance, and the staff's insistence that the room was "perfectly okay" felt like a stark denial of the reality we were facing. This experience was not only disheartening but alarming, as it became evident that the hotel's management was more concerned with maintaining a facade than ensuring the well-being of their guests. The suspicion that the hotel has been bolstering its online presence with fake reviews and photos seems plausible, given the stark contrast between the promised experience and the reality. After all the nonsense, we just decided to leave and eat the cost. I packed up my whole family (pregnant wife, toddler, two cats, and a dog), and we got the heck out of there. It really was a big bummer considering nearly all the hotels were booked in town due to a convention. So we ended up having to drive in a rainstorm for 2 hours at 10 p.m. to find another hotel. The hotel staff should be ashamed of themselves. The owner is either checked out or is chill with running a slum motel. This place sucks!

I love the room layout. Had a wet bar/kitchen. Free breakfast. The only thing is the parking and room locations. Would have stayed longer but the gem show sold out all reservations. Check it out it's not too bad. Loves dogs.

The entire staff, from the front desk during our welcome, to the breakfast experience and housekeeping, was friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean. However, the overall property is dated. There are cracked tiles outside of the rooms leading to the breakfast area, the overall property, inside and out, looks tired. That is no fault of those that work there. It is just a sad fact about the place.

There's quite alot of dust in odd places. We're in a suite. The bathroom is SPLIT! The sink & mirror are open to the private bedroom. The toilet & shower are off the kitchenette. VERY STRANGE LAYOUT!!!

I had a terrible experience I was staying here weekly became a regular my husband came in and spoke with Jazmin front desk associate who has always gave us attitude very incompetent as a front desk person and has no knowledge of what customer service means being the first face I walk into. very unprofessional. Then the manager Jace also incompetent failed to make things right. I asked Jazmin to let me know if we could check in earlier her response was, 1. she laughed 2. ignored me. 3 and then gave a response of "maybe" 1 or 3pm. very disrespectful and unprofessional if it was a no then say it. There should not be a grey area working in customer service. its a yes or no question. the employees are not valuing integrity or honesty. The manager Jace did nothing to reconcile it in fact made things worse. He had no idea how she was speaking and failed as a manger to make things right. I called to ask for the corporate phone number Jazmin answered and transferred me to Jace (Manager on duty) and got voicemail. Last time I checked corporate is not located in your back office. I called back very politely said I think you made a mistake I asked for a corporate number she placed me on hold again and transferred me right back to Jace. (headache) he answered of course this time around & replied if I had any problems he's the one to talk to. Negative. I asked for the corporate number & instead gave me a Reservation line. This hotel is ran by very unprofessional people and I highly recommend staying at the hotels next door.

Currently a guest here for a few nights. The rooms are very clean, up-to-date, there's a generous hot breakfast, and I can't think of one complaint. But if I were to stay here again I would say I can't have a room facing poolside. The hot tub is a huge draw and I have had to turn on "white noise" videos just to get to sleep, and even during daytime hours just because I like quiet and dislike loud conversations! Other than that, this is a terrific hotel!P.S. My comments about the hot tub were not a complaint. People are happy, having a good time out there. Good! It's just letting people who want quiet know to ask for a room away from the pool, that's all. I think this hotel is fantastic. I'll be moving to Tucson soon, and this is where I'll have visiting family stay.

Compared to the first hotel that we booked through a booking agency that we wish we wouldn't have done. This hotel was 100% better. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially the quality of the food.
