I came into get a replacement debt card. And Jackie was really rude and said I would have to wait tell they helped the 6 people in line. I had a meeting to go to and she said will you can come back. Iike my life doesn't mean anything!! I was here first!! I really miss Bank Of The West!!! They would NEVER treat a customer like this!! I guess I will go bank shopping! Maybe Jackie should take a course in customer service!! I will never let her help me again!!!! A very unsatisfied customer!!! Chris Oellerich

I was shocked to read the negative reviews at this establishment. They are in stark contrast to my experiences at this branch.
When I first started my relationship with this Branch I did encounter procedural difficulties with BMO being "stuck on stupid" over my Power of Attorney over the account. Despite the legal documents being professionally prepared, they were unfortunately dismissed and ignored since they weren't on the banks in-house form. Once we had worked through the peculiarities of this bank's bizarre requirements, my relationship has improved and been nothing but positive. Years later, I still question the wisdom of the BMOs less then accommodating thinking.
Over the duration of my relationship with this branch, I have experienced nothing short of outstanding customer service by the highly dedicated staff of this branch.
All banks routinely offer the same financial products, what separates them is the customer service.
Again I can only rely on my personal experiences which have all been outstanding.

We have nothing but problems with BMO. Their 3rd world phone service is horrid. Can't understand most of them I've encountered due to thick accents, mispronounced words, emphasis placed on the wrong syllable, etc. Multiple incidents of the account being "fraud locked" after my 85 yr old mother couldn't immediately recall her social security number, or if I'm in the background coaching her. (She's very hard of hearing.)
Branch personnel are friendly & mostly competent but their hands are tied with regard to over zealous & restrictive policies. Nobody there has any authority to actually THINK and made decisions. It's been horrible dealing with them the past few years when there is an issue - which there have been quite a few of following the death of my father.
Examples include refusing to honor power of attorney drawn up by the family attorney and refusal to add my sister and I as trustees using the trust documents prepared by our attorney, insisting we have THEIR trust document completed, which requires not only a notarized signature of the grantor but also the signature of a non-related witness - which the bank will not allow to be a bank employee.
We've had enough. We're gonna try another bank. It can't be worse, and the process of getting things straightened out with BMO is the same as what we'll go through switching to a different bank.

Horrible experience with BMO. I had never stepped foot at this bank on Wilmot nor will I ever go back.Lost my father month ago, was left as a beneficiary along with two other siblings. Keep in mind mourning my father it took 4 visits to finally get the money my father left me. I did what was asked of me and provided information that the bank needed. It would have been easier if at the first visit they give me a list of what they needed. It did not work out that way. On my fourth visit when I was handed the check I went into the vice presidents office, Bernadette Waddel to let her know what a terrible experience this was. I mentioned to her the money means nothing, if I could have my father back I would do that in a heartbeat. She tried to jump in but I asked her to just listen as I was emotional and VERY frustrated. At the end of the conversation she stood up and walked me to the door and started to YELL at me to never come back and that she would make a report to never let me in the building. As she was yelling her tellers were looking at her in shock of what just happened. She was so irate. It was very disturbing to watch her throw me out. I have never had this happen and I work in a well known drs office. I would NEVER treat anyone in a matter that she treated me.As soon as I got in my car I had a meltdown and showed up at my own bank (no name given) and let my own girl know. She pulled me into private office to calm me down.I was and am speechless……Thank you Bernadette for showing your true colors, I’d ripped that badge off if you worked for me.

Great spot to do banking. I read a few of the previous reviews which put the bank in a bad light and at least for me it has been the opposite. Very professional and easy to work with team.

Jordan and the staff at the wilmot branch are very good at what they do and rest assured if there's an issue they'll bend over backwards to resolve it

Teller is extremely rude. I went in just to get a roll of quarters and because I didn't have my ID on me they wouldn't exchange or give me a roll of quarters. Just needed it quickly for my business, I've never not been able to walk into any Bank and exchange $10 for a roll of quarters and I've definitely never been asked for my ID to have to do it. The teller and banker are the rudest people I've ever come across in my life.
