“My last employer, a Certified Public Accountant, unfortunately passed away in the middle of tax season resulting in the end of his business. It was necessary to find another C.P.A. in Tucson who could take over the task of preparing many tax returns during the busiest time of year. Fortunately, I found David Oase, C.P.A. (now Red Alder Accountants) and they graciously accepted the challenge. The staff is very pleasant, accommodating, and handled a monumental amount of work in a professional and efficient manner. They are easy to reach by telephone or email and conveniently available for in-person appointments. They are well informed and knowledgeable in all areas of tax preparation and accounting as well as utilizing current IT requirements. I highly recommend this firm for their competence and the services they offer.”

“Tom and his staff stopped at nothing to prepare and file my taxes with accuracy, efficiency, and that special human touch that is so vital when dealing with the IRS. I have been using Tom for years and I have never encountered even one issue from the IRS. This is a testament to the culture of excellence that Tom has built in his firm. His tax preparers are industry-leading in my opinion. Also, they actually make the process fun!”

“My brother Mike DeVries is a key partner at HBL CPAs. For the last 6 years he has been helping me do my yearly taxes. Mike's knowledge, after about what must be 35 years as a tax CPA is incredible - there has never really been a question I had for him that he didn't know the answer to. He is a total professional. His office, staff: Ana and Becky and many others I don't remember the names of right now, are all extremely friendly and helpful and you cannot be better cared for than to go to this place to get CPA help or tax help or anything related to that. Thanks, Mike! Jon DeVries”
