Avoid for used records that they have "graded". They clearly aren't play graded but if they were they were listened to by a deaf person with earmuffs. No, they are apparently only visually graded by a blind man with sunglasses in a coalmine at night. My "VG" albums would never have gotten that rating from a reputable Discogs seller. Clearly warped and scratched. My record weight and cleaning with Record Doctor helped a tad but not much. Please go back to the days of leaving the records unsealed and stick a price on them and let us decide if they are worth the money. Just visually I would never have bought the records I did at those prices. Won't fool me twice.

Avoid Bookman's, no need to take anything to them. Almost take nothing, with few exceptions staff needs training in customer services, they never have sales to promote turn over of product, prices to high to also promote turn over. For cds and videos go to Goodwill.

I don't know why every time I need to deal with one of the employees on the phone there is a patronizing tone. I called to see if a book was in stock and the salesperson said it didn't sound like I was sure I was going to buy it so should he give me a week. WTH? What does this guy know about me and my intentions? Other times I've come in to sell books or musical instruments and the exchange also was dripping in attitude. I find the selection of books lacking and the attitude of the staff condescending in general. Happy to shop at other local bookstores or Amazon!

It's worth a visit when looking for something to do in Tucson. Excellent selection of used books along with other stuff like music, comics, and collectibles. Get lunch next door at Beyond Bread.

This place is awesome!! They have everything old and new from books, games and music to instruments. I could spend all day here. They also have one of the largest kids sections I’ve ever seen. Would 100% recommend!

Neat store. Found a really old compilation book that is long out of print for a fair price. They have a Huge selection and very reasonable pricing. Brought in a bunch of stuff that was taking up space. Got a fair amount for the items took the store credit over cash. Only draw back is a place like this will attract sketchballs looking to hock items they likely stole or scavenged from Goodwill. They often have a police officer pulling security. Regardless neat store worth checking out, almost certain to find something worth buying.

Bookman's is one of those rare local bookstores. Each location is pretty large and easy to lose yourself looking at books, movies, and other fun things. My sons and I have even enjoyed looking at the resale items in the home section. It's been a fun place to spend time with them over the years, and their prices have made it affordable to raise kids reading books. Being a used bookstore, you can expect that they will often have what you want, but sometimes not. I've also gotten good advice on gaming systems and games here. Definitely worth a atop-by. The east side location is my favorite because for some reason, it's easier to navigate than the other locations. It feels cleaner and more inviting.

The people are so friendly at booksman's, the atmosphere is good. The prices on the books are decent, such a wide variety of gifts to pick from. I did a lot of my Christmas shopping here and had fun while doing it.

This is a cool little bookstore I like to come here and just walk around and check things out. As soon as you walk in they have music stuff they have albums they have guitars and keyboards. They even have a little area where they have like used goods and little things to buy kind of like an antique section. They got CDs they got DVDs they got Blu-ray. They have every section of a library you could want and a pretty good selection of books. They even have a children's section which is also really cool for kids. If you're not into books they do have magazines and games and just a whole bunch of stuff to look at it's more than just a bookstore. The staff is the stuff is okay they didn't really check in on me until I went up to the counter to pay but the guy was friendly. They close down the other speedway location so this is the only location now in Tucson besides the one up north.

Definitely one of the cooler places in Tucson! There is so much here and there is something for everyone, books, music, jewelry, toys, and even the occasional dead stuffed animal for sale... yup. Lots of variety. Prices range from reasonable to expensive There are a couple of cons... sometimes the staff is not the friendliest and their trade in values aren't great. They could give more than they do for trades. But overall we have had mostly positive experiences here. This is definitely one of those gems in Tucson

Very crowded and the staff behind the counter can be quite short with you, almost making you feel like you’re foolish for asking questions. Otherwise the floor staff were excellent and helped find books/entertainment we were looking for!The location is tidy but the carpeted interior smells a little damp and moldy.

I love this place, the people are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Plus the store itself is really inviting and interesting. I really love the displays they make that have different fascinating themes (i.e a nature display with all different types of nature books, music, and art.) These themed displays have allowed me explore new things and ideas that I might not have considered learning about before had it not been presented for me!

Love, love, love this store! Great selection, it's more hit than miss in my opinion, their trade prices are more than fair when compared to other places that trade, staff 9/10 is knowledgeable or can quickly locate whatever tools necessary to answer our questions. I love it for their book selection, magazines, gel pens (coloring books are hit and miss but they do have a pretty good variety,) my children love it for their children's section (age appropriate, books are easily found by author/age group,) and my Husband especially loves all of their DIY books for home improvement to computer coding! Cost effective.. for a family of 4 we generally spend under $20 and each of us gets 1-2 items be it a book, coloring stuff, board game, music related, or some cool socks, star trek shirt, or video game. They also have a good selection of consoles and usually have any controllers, keyboards, or cords we need to connect to electronics. They have sound equipment as well.. they have everything minus food lol!

A great local used bookstore. We have found so many gems and work music, collectibles, books, art supplies, locally created items, and unusual products there really is something for everybody. The children's area is huge and welcoming. My grandkids know if we go they are each getting at least one book!

Lots of new and used books. Little niches and spots on the bookshelves with interesting knick knacks. The cook book section was over the top!
