I REALIZE I AM SHOWING MY LAME STUPIDITY BY SHARING THIS AWFUL SET OF EVENTS WITH BRAKE MAX. IN FEBRUARY 2024 I HAD MY VOLVO CAR TOWED TO BRAKE MAX AT GOLF LINKS AND KOLB IN TUCSON, AZ~ WHERE IT WAS RECEIVED BY THE ARROGANT MANAGER ANDRE FOR WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A THERMOSTAT OR RADIATOR ISSUE. BUT HE DIAGNOSED THE TIMING CHAIN CONNECTED TO THE WATER PUMP ALL HAD TO BE REPLACED. TOTAL COST $8,147. IT TOOK THEM 4 MONTHS TO HAND ME THE KEYS TO MY CAR BACK... WITH A DEAD BATTERY FOR WHICH THEY CHARGED ANOTHER $165! ACCEPTING NO BLAME OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT~EITHER! FAST FORWARD TO YESTERDAY~ 20 MONTHS LATER WHEN THE POS BATTERY DIED. THE BATTERY WAS COVERED UNDER FULL WARRANTY.... MINUS TAXES AND LABOR. ADD $56+ LATER I PAID FOR BRAKE MAX CORP TO KEEP THEIR LIGHTS ON.... +RIPPING OFF OTHER UNSUSPECTING INNOCENT CUSTOMERS FOR YEARS TO COME.
PLEASE DON'T BE AS STUPID AS ME!

Bake Max quoted me $1,000 to fix my back brakes lol. I got them fixed for $200 somewhere else and they still work great. I don't know how they are still in business with the way they way over price everything. I had to drive across town with no brakes thanks for nothing Brake Max.

Maybe try going to your dealers workshop forst. Very nice staff and will get the work done. However my quote at my actual dealership was 6000 less...you just have to make sure there not charging you for miscellaneous stuff not pertaining to the issue that got you there in the first place
