UPDATE*
You will not find the job under my name because it is under my husbands name. You guys failed to find the mold in our home when black mold was visible in the master bath. You guys said the job would be done in two to three weeks but you never did complete the job. We hired Steamy Concepts to finished and they actually cared about doing a good job.
We called 1-800 water damage when we found mold in two bedrooms. They came out and supposedly did a thorough inspection of the home. Unfortunately they did not communicate with us at all. John, the owner, would say one thing and his project manager would say something different. In order to get updates on the work, we would have to call multiple times. There were days their crew did not show up which delayed the progress and readiness of our home. They also tested the areas they “cleaned” which kept testing positive for mold and asking us why. It was a nightmare working with them. We decided to hire a different company who was much more efficient, who actually inspected our home and helped us be mold free. I would NOT recommend working with this company. We were billed a great amount for their supposed work. When I called to inquire about the bill, I was told they would get back to me and never heard back. Now, 10 months later we are being harassed to make a payment. When we needed them we could not get ahold of them but now to get their money we are constantly called.

I would like to thank 1800water damage for the restoration of my home. John and Doug walked me through the process of water restoration,mold mitigation, and reconstruction. They always kept me informed of there progress as well as what the next steps will be. Their experience knowledge and professionalism helped make my understanding of the process less stressful. When I reached out for water damage companies phone numbers there’s were the only one to come up, and was all I needed. What a God sent. Furthermore, they were very instrumental in navigating me through the treacherous roads of my insurance policy. They are spot on to the insurance process. If anyone is in need of help with water damage or home damage this company is your go to. Thank you John and Doug and 1800 water damage.

We used these folks for a large water damage and restoration job recently. They were highly professional, trustworthy, detail oriented and had great communication. They handled the insurance claim for us and explained the whole process carefully. I have recommended them to my friends and family and would trust them in my home anytime. These guys are the best!

My experience with 1 800 water damage was great. We had a lot damage from a leak up stairs. They were fast getting the water cleaned up. They help with insurance company where I was not on the phone dealing with all the details. Help us restore our house better than it was before. Doug gets the repairs done as fast he can and has great people like Wayne working with him. Fair and good people to work with. I hope not to have another flood but if I do they will be the one I call for sure.Russ

I am extremely please with the quickness of this company. I call numerous company to help us with a washer water issue that floored our home. They were able to have a team over in less than an hour. These guys are Great! Very knowledgeable when it comes to mold remediation and water damage. The owner John heard about our issue and was onsite first thing in the morning and had a crew start the dryout within minutes. With the many horror stories about water damage issues and after disappointment of our insurance company hanging us out to dry, we were overly cautious in proceeding with repairs. We were extremely pleased with the initial estimate and vast knowledge of owner John, numerous conversations and hand holding by office administrator Megan, understanding and working with our budget by Matthew, drywall removal and remediation by Joel, and the final drywall, texturizing and painting by Wayne.
