Ill change my stars after i hear back from Budget about this.this company should have an after hours key drop. There are several secure drop boxes that are state of the art, that no one can steal your keys...I dropped my truck off last night at this address after hours. The budget customer service agent said that it would be fine after hours. So, i parked the truck in the parking lot and dropped the key by the sliding metal door that they invested in...i wonder why they didnt invest in something that would compliment, and give their customers a stress free experience.. this scenario feels like I'm driving my vehicle with the engine light on.....sketchy...I pray to Jesus they'll have some integrity and help clear all this up.

We rented a moving truck from this location when we were moving to Austin, Texas. When we arrived, the employee went to get our truck and started doing the walk-through to check for any issues. This process took a while, and towards the end, he wanted to “point out” that the “check engine” light was on. He said he would make a note on our paperwork so that we wouldn’t have any issues when turning it in to the location in Austin… as if that were the problem! How in the world are they okay with renting out a truck with potential issues? I immediately said no and asked for another truck. Another couple who was moving to North Dakota was there and we’re having the same issue. They were being given a truck with the “check engine” light on and the employee was giving them a hard time. The woman even told us that at one point they pretended to go get another truck and brought out the same one. I think they may have done the same thing to us but we didn’t notice at the time. When they brought us the “new truck,” there was no light on so we signed paperwork and took off after closing hours which is 6pm. We only drove for 19 miles before the check engine light came on! Shortly after, another light came on which I think had to do with the gas cap. I later noticed that the gas cap was not meant for that truck! You can immediately tell that the truck was not maintained at all! When I was driving straight, I had to turn the steering wheel slightly right! Also, the interior can was filthy! They seemed to have done absolutely nothing after the truck was returned. I can’t believe that they would even rent this truck given the condition that it was in. I would highly recommend renting from a different location and paying a little extra for much better quality. If you do decide to rent from this location, beware!

Would give no stars if at all possible. I was sent to this location due to the first location my truck was vandalized the night before pickup, we arrived at this location and ended up waiting around for an employee to finally pop up after 20 minutes was the absolute worst customer service ever was rude to my wife and I as well as the truck was filthy( it looked as if someone had been using the floor at a spit cup and there was spilled soda all over causing a sticky mess), it was missing the fire extinguisher, road side kit, and the center console was barely hanging on, the firewall shroud wasn't even attached all the way, also upon acceleration the steering wheel and entire cab would shake violently due to some steering issues. what was supposed to be a easy 1 day trip has turned to a 3 day nightmare. We will never deal with budget or this location ever again.

I had an emergency and had to drop off my truck rental at a different place. This office was open. I truly appreciate the gentleman I dealt with was way more helpful then the customer service 800 number. I will drive out of my way to give this office my business.

There are a little on the slow side as far as service is concerned but they have what's needed to get you on your way. Just be prepaid to wait a while.

Absolutely terrible experience with this location. I was told to drop off my rental truck here on a Sunday before 5pm. I arrived at 1pm and spoke with Anthony who instructed me to drop the key and paperwork in the mailbox. Next thing I know I'm being charged an extra $100 for an extra day because the "paperwork did not process until Monday morning." I tried to call the location, but the phone number provided doesn't even ring through, it just transfers you to the national rental hotline. If you need to get through, call their 806-4502 line for the Avis side. I spoke with Anthony once again and he told me he would vouch for the fact that I returned the truck on time when I had the national customer service hotline call. He did not do that at all and instead backed their story. This is an extremely shady operation and I would stay far, far away.

I went to Tucson for the weekend and due to car trouble I was stranded, so I set up my reservation and took an uber to this company all for them to deny me due to credit history.... Funny part is I never gave them my social or bday so how can you run my credit... I never rented from you guys before either. I don't know if it was because of my race, or how I was dressed but I have more then enough to buy a car but I got denied a Rental. And I'm going to make sure all know about this experience to.... I felt as if they didn't even bother to want to help

I rented a vehicle trailer as well as 24' truck from this site for a cross-country road trip. The entire experience was absolutely awful. The trailer was given to me with a completely bald tire and 8 PSI (50 PSI is recommended). After returning to exchange the trailer, 3 out of the 4 trailers on the lot had either completely flat tires or huge chunks out of the tread - a blowout waiting to happen. It was only when I pointed these things out that the manager allowed me to pick my own trailer - the 1 and only safe trailer available. Next, the truck broke down twice in three days. The first breakdown was 2 hours into my drive, when the truck overheated, lost acceleration, and lost the anti-lock brakes system. A mechanic came and addressed the check engine light but was unable to fix the anti-lock brakes, so now I was driving a 24' truck and vehicle trailer across the country (through rain) with no anti-lock brakes. Wonderful. The second truck breakdown was even more of an adventure. Driving up a hill on the interstate, in a construction zone where the shoulder was blocked off, I completely lost all thrust power on the truck. In seconds I slowed from 55 MPH to 25 MPH on the interstate. I abruptly swerved across the fast lane of traffic and careened the truck and trailer down the steep banked median. After roadside assistance arrived and the mechanic inspected the truck, he told me that the turbocharger had obviously not been serviced or maintained in a very long time, had been leaking oil into the air intake hose, and was the direct cause of the loss of power. Glad Budget saved a few bucks on maintenance so that I could swerve into the median. Clearly, Budget does absolutely nothing to maintain, service, or inspect their equipment. My trip was delayed for many hours on 3 separate occasions, not to mention the major safety issues associated with each problem (blowout tire, no anti-lock brakes, losing all power on the interstate). There is absolutely no excuse for any of these issues, but especially for swerving into the median due to a lack of truck maintenance. After taking all THREE of these issues up with Budget, they offered me a measly 10% discount on my rental and refused to let me speak to anyone higher than a lower level supervisor. I would not recommend Budget to my worst enemies. Instead of auto insurance Budget should be offering Life and Medical insurance with their trucks, seeing as how the chances of their truck/trailer having major issues and causing a serious accident is pretty damn high.
