“The people working here are very kind but when we were transferred to someone to help us book and get our insurance information. The person handling that interaction was very condescending and rude. She keep getting upset and somewhat rude with us when we asked if she got the information due to a delay between us. And when we explained why we were doing it, she was very rude to us. We had to hang up and call again just so we can do it. Justin was a very understanding about it when we recalled and helped us get all though all the necessary information. He was also very helpful before we got transferred to an in-house helper for a reservation”

“Enterprise continues to provide me with excellent service. The Tucson Airport team was wonderful, Jasmine and Frances went above and beyond to make sure I was in a SUV that was my preference. (I don't like the navigation system and lack of touch screen in Mazda's SUVs) With smiles and delightful attitude they got me into a RAV4 and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. “This was an insurance company rental or I never would have gone to Enterprise to rent a car in the first place. Simply put, Enterprise is expensive and disorganized.Going through Enterprise's system with the insurance company, I was given a price and size of car and a day's notice. When I got to the little office on Valencia, they didn't have the size car I reserved, and the smaller car I got was $6.00 more per day than allowed for by the insurance company.Why did I give them such a good rating then? Marissa, the manager of the small office on Valencia, did all she could, within the bounds of Enterprise's awful system, to explain the problems fully and get us into a car. She did this with a smile, swapped a few stories with us, and asked for our understanding.”

“I've had about a half dozen rentals from this location over the last few months, a variety of rental types and lengths of rentals, and I have yet to have an issue with the customer service provided by this location. Employees are friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. They greet you to the office, they're clear and concise in the contract portion of the rental, and willing and able to answer any and all questions about the vehicles, no matter how silly or mundane. I've had them honestly answer recommendations for rentals, and I've watched them seamlessly handle consistent business. The vehicles they rent are clean, well-kept, and run great. “This was my first time renting an accessible van in Tucson. My dad lost his ability to walk in January and had to go to a group home. So he hadn't been in a car since last December. On the phone, he kept telling me how he missed going for rides in the countryside around Tucson. So when I went down to visit him, I rented an accessible van from Wheelers.I was bit worried about how to get my dad's wheelchair into the van. But the person at the pickup location showed me everything I needed to do to put down the ramp and tie down the wheelchair safely. When I picked up my dad, I was able to wheel him into the van and lock down the wheelchair in five minutes.My dad was very happy to get out and drive. I haven't seen him that happy in a long time. I'm so glad that Wheelers gave me that opportunity to make my dad happy on his 90th birthday.”

“Be warned, if you make an advance booking online, they may not have a vehicle available for you. However, they will do absolutely everything they can to find one for you, hence the 4 star rating. They're trying their best right now in the pandemic, but the West coast and neighboring states arestruggling with having any cars in stock.We reserved an SUV for a cross-country move a month in advance. On the pick-up day, our booking said to pick up at noon, but that's when they close. We called two hours ahead to verify the reservation, but they said no cars were available for rental. We asked in person if they had anything the same size as an SUV and they said they didn't. After some pressing in-person, we were told maybe a mid-sized or full-sized sedan would be available during the day, but that would be too small to fit our belongings. After this, we came in around noon to wait around in person to hope for a car. They tried to offer us the one mid-sized sedan that showed up, but that wouldn't have worked. We then tried specifically asking for a van and miraculously they had that in stock, despite being told nothing of a similar size was in the lot that morning. It must've showed up unscheduled and last-minute, because we had to sign a waiver to rent it without a cleaning, just with "COVID-level sanitation work done". Despite this, we found half-eaten food in the back of the van... but that's what the waiver was for I guess. We were lucky this worked out, but there is a good chance that the lack of available vehicles would've screwed us over on our schedule and forced one of our party to miss a family funeral.WARNING: this is an independently-operated location, so if you book in advance online then they therefore cannot issue refunds. You have to call corporate directly to resolve any issues. If you book it in person and don't pre-pay, they will be able to help with any issues.”

“Overall experience was okay, the car was a bit dirty at the time if pick up. The car was great during the trip, it si fuel efficient and gave us no issues. Upon return there is no option for late return got into town at 5:40 and had to pay a night at a hotel because latest drop off time is 5:30. No drop off box for late return so couldn’t make it home until the next day. The car itself was great and comfy to travel in.”

Staff is always pleasant, and I really am doing a review to mention that I enjoyed getting my rental today to see a card stating that my rental had been sanitized and cleaned. Many rental agencies are not doing this anymore post covid. I was happy to have a clean vehicle that I didn't have to wipe down myself. Good job, Avis Tucson Airport!”
