The first time I came into your Eastside location was to sell my car. I had an appointment with Abagail and I was very impressed with her overall ability to lead us through the process seamlessly. It's obvious that everyone working there has a great attitude about your company. This speaks volumes.

Make sure you check your vehicle friends. I'm out almost $300 because they didn't switch my battery to the vehicle I just bought four months ago because it's past my "90 day policy". Mind you the representative even said that no records show anything was done to my vehicle when my salesman had said everything is in great condition. Sadden because I actually recommended this place to my friends and family. Now this is the place I will make sure they know NOT to go to. Not even location wise, Carmax overall.

I purchased a vehicle there. The car is a 2016 and in mint condition. All their vehicles are reconditioned if they need it. This is so different from Carvana where they note the damages instead of repairing them.

Did a walk-in to sell my vehicle, and was advised to use the website to upload my information for faster service than waiting for a personnel to help input my information for me. The online quote was competitive compared to other websites that I checked out previously. Once I entered my information, I was able to “jump” the line and get the next personnel to inspect my vehicle. They were able to match my description to their inspection so they offered the same price that the online quote gave me. Then they asked me to wait 20-25 min while they look for a buyer, but the actual wait time was less than 10 min. They said that it came back faster than expected, I’m assuming because my vehicle had low mileages (just 40,000 miles for a 24 year old vehicle). Was able to sell my car and get a check immediately. Very happy with the overall service. Highly recommended.

While they gave me a check for the difference between the price they were buying the car for and our pay off the day i sold it to them, it would have been REALLY nice to know that it takes them 15 DAYS to pay the bank off!Also, calling them does no good as it goes to an automated voicemail not local to their store!

I walked in and sold my car, the staff was very helpful and the whole process only took a little over an hour. Christian was the representative I worked with to sell the car and he was very friendly.

I recently had a truly terrible experience at the Carmax location. The staff seemed utterly uninterested in helping us out. There was a noticeable lack of customer service, and it felt like we were inconveniencing them. We were only met with apathy and disinterest. I advise anyone looking to buy/sell a car to avoid this location at all costs. It was a truly frustrating and disappointing experience. Not to mention, we went there a total of 3 times.

I had been looking to trade my 2022 HR-V for a used Honda CR-V, and local dealership was my first choice for evaluating my trade-in and proceeding with the purchase. I visited the honda dealer for a trade-in evaluation, they inspected my HR-V, which was in excellent condition, and provided me with a quote that fell significantly below my expectations. Interestingly, Carmax offered me a trade-in value that was 24% higher than what the dealer was offering.As a result, I decided to trade in my HR-V with Carmax and purchased a 2019 CR-V with relatively low mileage at a reasonable cost. One thing I appreciated about Carmax was that they didn't pressure me into purchasing unnecessary add-ons like I have experienced in the past, such as red alert, lowjack, nitrofill, and extended coverage.

This Review is for the CarMax Eastside Location.I will do my best to keep this short and sweet.My experience with CarMax was not so great in the beginning due to the vehicle purchased was not for me and had issues with the vehicle. CarMax without hesitation took the car back.CarMax stepped up and helped with a loaner andthey went above and beyond for me to get me what I wanted, and found me the vehicle that is perfect for me.They took care of the paperwork.. everything for a smooth transition and that it was.The times I went to the location or made a phone call to get a status on the vehicle on it's way to me, I always treated with Professionalism and kindness, no rudeness what so ever.All I can say is CarMax was an experience and in the end FANTASTIC customer service.The whole staff was wonderful to work with and for me that say's it all.I want to personally thank all of you that work at the East Location!I am one happy customer and look forward to keeping the relationship when I need vehicle maintenance.I highly recommend CarMax.Kind regards and Thank you Chris and your outstanding staff.Teresa Anthony
