Children's Memorial Park is a peaceful, small city park that offers a variety of features for visitors. It is open from dawn to 10 pm and includes a playground, a softbal lfield, a basketball court that is lighted, exercise stations, and a swing set. There are three ramadas with tables, grills, and some with picnic tables, making it a good spot for picnics and gatherings. The park has clean restrooms and drinking water available. Visitors can enjoy walking access to The Loop and admire the beautiful sky views in the early morning. Bird watching is popular here, as the park hosts a diverse array of birds and butterflies, thanks to the efforts of friendly park staff who maintain the area by trimming trees, planting flowers, and keeping the paths clean. The park is dog-friendly, with many dog owners frequenting the area and forming a community. Memorial walls with gardens and sculptures are dedicated to deceased children, adding a meaningful touch to the peaceful environment. Overall, it’s a calm neighborhood park with scenic views, clean amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere for families, pet owners, and nature lovers alike.

My brother had his son’s birthday party here at a Ramada by the playground, it was nice until it got dark, the lights at the Ramada was off. It was hard to see and it does get dark early so we had to leave early.
