Store is Clean and well Designed and has a pretty good selection. Not as good as the big chains but good for a local chain. I find the prices to be a little higher than other stores. The quality of items in the deli is better than other places and the Meat Box which provides enough meat for 5 or more meals is an awesome value.

Why are there never any grocery carts when I come here?? Not going to come back because it's been 3 times in a row , kind of a big deal for customers to have somewhere to put their items.

This is for Greg T. The store director. Let me teach you a phrase that may come in handy in your line of work, it's "can I help you?". I watched you help another family get rolls and I was standing there wanting to order rolls next. I know you saw us there, but you chose to ignore us and walk away. Jerk. Then at the registers I saw you and mentioned this. You told me that the cases open for the customer to help themselves. Well I don't normally shop at your store so I did not know that. And again you could have told us that while we were obviously waiting to get a roll. Please don't assume every shopper knows your system. Greg, you're a jerk.

Their bakery is head and shoulders above any other super market in town. I have always found all departments to be neat and fresh and prices to be competitive.

This is the second time in a row that Basha's milk went bad on me just a day or two beyond the date. No morning coffee again. I'm done with this terrible mismanaged grocery store.

I stopped in to Bashas to get my 30 day supply of Grocery's and other supply's The place was clean inside and outside of Bashas and the staff were friendly .The bathroom was also clean and had hand soap and paper towels. I stopped by the Deli for some Breakfast and went to the table and chairs at the deli to eat. The deli was also clean and Every one should get there 30 day's supply of food and water. Because of the supply chain and food shortage's to the brink of famine in this county by 12/31/2022.

I have been going to this Basha's store for almost 12 years. It is a very convenient location. For the past year, I hate to say this, the store has steadily declined. I went there this afternoon, and to say the selves are bare, would be an understatement. It has the look and feel of a store about to close. Also over the past year I have had to be very carful looking at expiration dates on everything. It is not unusual to find expired dates on almost any product. Lastly, products come and go on a regular basis. This very frustrating. I had ten items on my list today, was only able to find six of them....NOT GOOD!

Now I have a disappointment. I needed a bag of sweet peppers to be split , filled and served tomorrow. I took a bag off the top, got home and noted one spoiled pepper. I looked at the bag and it was packed on 4/9/21 in Mexico. This was the 28 th. That's a long gap to call it fresh even with refrigeration. I can't do any thing but return them. Back I went, the CS manager I've talked to for years totally agreed. She will have a serious talk with the produce supervisor. And action will be taken. So, Go get another. I found all of them to be 4/9 and a couple 4/13. So I took the best looking one with A 4/13/21 date. So today, next day , I needed two Avocados for tonight. Of course I looked to see. Absolutely no change. Two rows of bags, old pack dates and nothing new. A couple had the white pack date label off. Can't see a obvious reason why since all the rest did have one. Now, from now on I will be Vigilant on every item. Actually I'm shocked to have to mention this. After two decades of coming here I hate to go somewhere else. But I will.

Every time I walk in this place I swear it's going to be my last, but this last trip was absolutely the final straw. I was a regular shopper here for a couple years until over time I got tired of the fruits and veggies being on the verge of going over or just poor quality, period. There are so many items that they just leave on the shelves to long. Even the bread. The only thing that has kept me coming back occasionally over the last year was the great sales they have on beef. This last trip one of the bins of apples were sticky, plus as you can see there were several that were just wrinkled and nasty looking. I bought a head of cauliflower and the next day it was covered in brown spots. Then there was the deli meat I got. I didn't notice what was going on while he was slicing it of I would have said something, but I was busy looking at other items. I didn't discover it until I was at home. You can see what I'm talking about from the attached pic. I got a whole pound of that, some pieces even smaller. WTH am I supposed to do with that? Why would someone sell that?? Final straw

Door locked ten mins early.. had to pry the door open with my hands...surly "security guard" just watched.. after I left, I saw then let a guy in at 9:03. Only one cashier ever at night. always with a line forcing the customer to go through the self check out If they don't want to be there all night. Takes a long time anyway as the self check out has a lot of glitches requiring intervention by the staff on most visits.

I used to visit weekly to pick up produce for my previous employer's break room. They always had a large variety at good prices. The store is always very clean and organized. Staff is always helpful and friendly. They have a great bakery and deli. I also enjoy all the gift and decor items they sell. I wish there were more locations in Tucson!

I am very sad to leave this review, as this use to be my favorite place to buy groceries, but not anymore! I went over to Albertson's on Grant and Campbell a few weeks ago, and discovered that they have much higher quality produce for about a third less in price! I really liked the Bashas' rewards card, as I was able to receive decent deals on quite a few products, but in the past couple of months, it seems they are about to abandon this program for green coupons that one picks up at the front of the store, for select items! Not only are these coupons a waste of paper, but they also do not recoup the savings I use to accumulate with their rewards card! Their prices keep on going up, and it is usually about 20 - 30 cents increase on most items every few months. The kicker for me this evening was a barista at the Starbucks there named Allan (Sp?) who is completely incompetent and rude, and has left such a bad taste in my mouth about the ENTIRE store. Assistant Manager, Ana, tried to save the day, as she has bent over backwards to help me on MANY occasions over the past 8 years, but even tonight, I did not feel she completely vouched for me in how she handled the despicable behavior by this employee. I left the story tonight feeling completely enraged and humiliated, and not really wanting to come back in the future.

Very very expensive. Only went in to get a salad that had no fork in it. Got a large soda and here were no lids. Really???

Rude. First word that comes to mind when I think of this place. My brother in law, and sister, who are both in the military, went in to buy some wine. It's only been about a week that they live in Tucson and their i.d's are from California, so are sideways. The lady at the register was very rude about their i.d's not being rotated and denied them their drink.. They're both adults so the lady could've looked at the birthdays and confirmed that.. she was just super rude about it. They offered to give her their Military i.d's and she denied them again! Said that because she seen the other i.ds she didnt care to accept them. And that it was store policy to deny them.. To top it off, the lady scanned her own rewards card and got points for other items my sister and her husband bought, instead of scanning my sisters card for the rewards. We won't be returning to this establishment anymore. Went to another Bashas, and they kindly accepted, not to mention said that the "policy" the other lady was referring to, was not a thing..

I am a vegeterian and do a lot of stir fry cooking so I buy lots of fresh vegetables, sometimes two and three of the same things..I was in the produce section and tore off a bunch of plastic bags I knew I would be needing and a fellow who works there asked me if I needed all those bags...I asked him if a customer could only have one...and told him I would probably be using more than what I had got and sure enough I did..when I got thru, I went back over to him and showed him had used all I had taken and more and suggested if a customer could only have one or two bags to put up a sign to bring our own bags to the store to use,,I further informed him I would not have taken them if I had not needed them....when I checked out, I told the cashier about the incident and she apologized and said she would report the matter....he did not need to be addressing the customer unless he was approached for help...just do the job assigned to him and don't bother the customer when they are shopping and know what they need I also go there because they have the best prices on chicken and pork that I purchase for stir fry's and oriental dishes I make.
