CVS on North Campbell is the best pharmacy in Tucson. Jake the pharmacist is very chill and always has a smile for customers. He takes the time to answer any questions. This extends to the other people who are the friendliest of any pharmacy around. Most places the staff looks miserable but it’s very different here.

Never gotten good service here and they seem to short staffed on a regular basis at this location. Most times no one is at the counter and you have to ring a bell for help which sometimes never comes to the counter. And if there is someone at the counter sometimes you have to wait a good 5-10 mins for them to finish up with their conversation with each before they will even acknowledge you are not invisible.

According to CVS Code of Conduct, putting people first is the highest priority. After my experience at the CVS Pharmacy on Ina and Campbell, I can tell you that is NOT a philosophy practiced at this store. I went into CVS to grab some snacks and drinks for my family, who were home not feeling well. Some items were on sale buy 1 get one, 50% off. I got to the register, and a new employee, Zach, had been left alone on his first day at the register and was helping a woman. I decided to use the self-checkout. I rang up all my items, but none of the sale items rang up on sale, and the checkout couldn't recognize all my items were in the bag. A light comes on and says that someone will come to help me. I'm fine with that. After waiting for a few minutes, Zach went to see if someone could come to help me when a gentleman waiting for checkout mentioned that I had been waiting a while for assistance. I was fine waiting but was appreciative of the mindfulness the other customer displayed.A woman (SUE), who I assume is a supervisor or assistant manager, comes up to the register without a greeting, introduction, or inquiry and states I need to proceed to check out and pay to click a button. I explain that some of my items are on sale, and it's not showing up. She says it's because I need to add my phone number. I gave her my number it was not in their system; my husband's number is not in the system, so she went to get a card and asked me my name. I tell her I really don't want to give her my information because I don't want to receive emails or texts. She mumbles that she'll just put in a name for me. She chooses to input KAREN. Karen is a beautiful name unless it's being used as an offensive slur. I asked Sue, did you really just put in Karen as my first name? Are you serious? She doesn't own inputting an intentional offense slur as my name but feigns ignorance. I'm upset, but I'm chill. And... I'm still nice because I'm not going to engage with an employee that shows such poor judgment and is certainly old enough to know better. I finished my purchase. Sue writes down the store manager's name and her name. First, the store signage does not say you have to sign up to receive the benefit of sales. Second, declining to be entered into a database is not a reason to demean and disrespect me with a pejorative term for a white woman. I demanded nothing. I asked for no special treatment. I never raised my voice or anything like that and yet this employee acted contemptuously. slurs are an insinuation or allegation about someone that is likely to insult them, slander them, or damage their reputation. CVS earning the trust of customers - failedCVS acting with integrity - failedCVS respecting colleagues - (Poor Zach left alone on the first day) - failedCVS interacting with others - failedCVS doing the Right Thing - failedIn order to believe Sue, I'm supposed to believe of all the 1000's and 1000's of first names available to choose from, Sue randomly and without a shred of malice picked the slur for a privileged white woman. And what was my privileged transgression...declining to receive texts or emails from CVS. Here's the rub... I believe in Math. Statistically, the probability of this being a random choice is highly unlikely. I think Sue thought she could covertly use the name Karen for me, and I wouldn't be the wiser like writing B***** a racial slur, or some other derogative comment on a receipt for her friends to see and laugh about. It's just not cool and it's certainly not acceptable.

when your meds are suddenly not available for pickup, when a scheduled appointment for a vaccine is closed at the last minute " because another site needed a pharmacist" and no one bothers to call as promised it's not a pharmacy anyone can depend on.

I was pleasantly surprised that there was a program that gave me such a good discount and I walked out of there with a great deal. Dealing with Vicki was great! She is very nice and very helpful. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of having my prescriptions sent to this CVS due to being flooded out in my home. They were professional and due to some unforeseen circumstances my stripes were arriving late due to a clinch at my doctors office. The Tech there actually called me to keep informed on weather they were not receiving. She could hear I was very sick and I appreciate her and the pharmacy for all their help in getting my mess resolved.

Fast and Friendly pharmacy. We had all our RX's moved from a competitive pharmacy because we were tired of poor service. We've been so pleased with this pharmacy and store personnel.

I had the pleasure of getting a booster shot at CvS this past week. It was a pleasant time and the staff were all inviting and hospitable. It was almost as if I had stepped into a hotel, but in this case it was CvS! Vicki the store manager helped me update my information for my Care savings card and she was amazing! I wish her the most positive future! Thank you for everything!

I have had an issue with my prescriptions going through this week. I have not had this issue before. I have been getting the run around all week. CVS blaming the insurance and the insurance blaming CVS. So I was understandably frustrated by this point. Insurance again stated that there are no issues with my insurance. So I called CVS. The female who answered was rude. She must have already been having a bad day so I tried being extra nice. While I was trying to explain the situation, she cut me off to tell me what she thought was happening. I tried explaining that it was not the same situation she was describing. She again interrupted me to allow her to finish. Firmly I told her this is very frustrating and that I have not had this issue before. She told me to stop yelling at her. I said I'm frustrated but I'm not yelling. She proceeded to argue so I asked to speak with someone else. I just wanted the issue fixed so I could pick up my prescriptions. After a few minutes. Another female answered and ruffly stated that if I'm going to be yelling then I could call back another time. I explained that yes I'm frustrated and have the right to be, but I'm not yelling. How I was speaking to her is how I was speaking to the female before. She said I was lying and that she was standing next to the other employee and could hear the whole conversation. I told her, then you should know I was not yelling. Finally I was able to explain what has gone on so far this past week with the back and forth situation. The second female gave me some new possibilities and said to call the insurance again. Still at square one with no real help and no prescriptions. My new specialty Dr only sends prescriptions to 2 CVS locations, not sure why. This location gives CVS a bad name for me personally and I hope they don't treat anyone else like this. I have worked in customer service for over 17 years. I know first hand the customer is not always right. This was not that type of situation. I was greeted rudely and it escalated from there. I will gladly switch locations after this situation is cleared up. I know everyone is getting burnt out and stressed but I think that is the time to be kinder. Hopefully those 2 females have a better week.

I always go to CVS to fill my prescriptions, and recently moved and wanted to fill my prescription at this location. When I called, I was put on hold by the automated answering machine for over an hour without anyone picking up the phone to talk to me. I took a screenshot at 45min in, and would have taken a screenshot at 1 hour and 7 minutes, except they hung up on me. I went from being on hold for over an hour to being hung up on. I'm extremely disappointed in this service since this is a pharmacy, I have a chronic illness with prescriptions that need to be filled, and people don't have the time to wait on hold all day when they need their medication. I understand that Covid has put a stress on all aspects of healthcare, but this is an unacceptable behavior from a pharmacy that is supposed to be distributing the medication that people need.

I'm impressed with the excellent service. Gail, who helped me today, is absolutely marvelous, going to extra lengths to make sure I could have my medication in a timely manner. Thanks so much, CVS!

Worst CVS in Tucson. Pharmacy staff is always rude not to mention they are always having some kind of computer issue. Just too many bad experiences to be relying on them for meds!
