My experience with Dales Doors with disappointing and stressful. My husband wanted an attractive front door for our new home. He special ordered an Hemlock wood door from the Artist collection. The order took 5 month to arrive. The owner outsources her painting and installation. My husband died suddenly prior to the doors arrival The painter charged $2000.00 to stain the door. Installation was an additional $1500.00. My husband's notes had less agreed upon fees. The painter damaged the wood on the door in multiple places. He dropped it off without saying anything about the damage. I was getting a stove installed the time and my contractor stated that i should not accept the door when he noticed the damage. When I called the owner she said it was the painters fault. i said this door costs $6500.00, you referred the painter-Jay's Painting and someone needs to take accountability. They ordered another door. The owner Leslie Bray called as I was flying home for the installation and was told "my door was in but is was the wrong size -a common mistake". The owner offered to give my money back. The painter took some follow up. What would have been a lovely door and memory turned out to be a stressful experience at a difficult time. I wasted 9 months and i still need a new door.

The overpriced interior doors I ordered were supposed to come with 24 hinges. However, the contractor noticed there weren't any. So, I had to go to Home Depot to purchase the hinges. I protect my peace, so some things are not worth debating. Unfortunately, friendly customer service is not these people's strength, and I decided from the ordering process that I would never call that company again.Additionally, their contractors need to be vetted by Dale Doors. The contractor I had; rescheduled often, was always late, and found an excuse to leave only after about 2 hours of work. He cut most of the doors and eventually walked-off the job and said he would not charge me. He said he was overwhelmed with his workload, and it wasn't my fault. Wait! What? Am I supposed to be relieved that I didn't have to pay him and be okay with having a garage full of unevenly cut doors (that I had to paint)!? I called around - no contractor would finish his botched job. These doors are trash, and I am at block one. This experience has been a nightmare. I am on the way to the courthouse to file a claim. My advice; select a professional company that isn't only interested in running your credit card. Pick a company that vets their contractors, will double check your order, and cares about your level of satisfaction - you'll thank me later.

I brought in a damaged interior (bathroom) door and a replacement from Home Depot. I asked for the exact replica to be created. They told me it would be a day or two, ended up being a couple of days then they called me and told me they couldn’t use the door from Home Depot. I came and got the unusable door back and they told me to order one from them direct. I ordered one and it took over 4 days to arrive and be ready for me to pick up. When picking up, still had to paint the door and when installing, the door didn’t fit. The hinge cut outs were incorrectly placed. Their hours are terrible, and they didn’t answer the phone for over two days. I do not recommend their services ever.

We got a nice frosted glass door for our bathroom - did I mention it's a1930 house & nothing is square? They were awesome in working with us to sand just a little here, plane just a tad there, and got all our original hardware back in place and the door fitting perfectly.

These guys and gals are awesome!! Took my door in to have it mortised, they got it back to me pretty quick. Great service, great price. I will definitely do business with Dale's Doors again.

I am absolutely impressed with how my doors came out!!! We attempted to ues other places however we didn't feel a connection with what we were being sold. We felt like we were just a job. I had a small door that did the view no justice. The family owned staff assisted my wife and I with deciding on the perfect door! Ultimately we love the results and would highly recommend utilizing this establishment for windows and doors! We panted as we requested. We're glad we went with this fantastic family owned small business!

Called for an estimate and Leslie was extremely rude and spoke to me like I was bothering her and that I was an idiot. When she went to get me the price she actually hung up on me. I couldn't believe it. I wanted to look at others who have reviewed this company and it seems they have had similar experiences. They must not want business if they treat customers like this.

We've used Dale's Doors twice in the past 3 years to get a door replaced. Both times they were very friendly and did an excellent job copying the door we brought them.

Definitely a 10 star review on a 5 star rating system. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Leslie helped us with the selection of the doors, the hardware, then set up the installation with Pat and David (the best around), and finished with the superior paint work by Sage (the best of the best). If you are looking to upgrade any door or add to your house like we did, Dale's Door is the best. Thank you for making our new home even better than ever.

Called and asked for a bid. Was told at some point an independent contractor would call to come measure. It still hasn’t happened. Not sure what to think other they don’t want my business. Might be great, might be horrid—but based on my experience would not use them at this point. I had to get something done but it doesn’t seem to be happening.
