I am looking to get my first gun. I'm a little nervous but Went in hoping to ask some questions and ready to buy and buy accessories etc. I look around a bit but no one to help me. One guy tells me three different times he'll be right with me but then goes to someone else when he's free. At one point there are two guys helping one customer and I'm just standing there like an idiot. Finally someone comes and offers to help me, shows me one gun gun for like two minutes and then says he has to help someone else and walks away. I wait a bit longer and no one offers to help. So I left. I get it, I'm not a gun guy, I didn't go in speaking the lingo and being all confident in what I wanted. But that's why I went to a store, hoping to get help. Nope.

Great place for ammo and firearm needs. CCW class was good. I've been trying to reserve a slot for their Security classes but it seems impossible to make contact with anyone about their training so I'll have to look elsewhere.

I have made MANY purchases at your store. I was in on this past weekend and you placed stickers on every sale tag with even smaller print than before. I would like to see the make, model, and price without needing to be a foot away with readers. If I have to ask, I won't ask.

I have had 3 separate horrible transfer experiences there. My worst one was when I had a gun shipped there for a transfer. The box arrived opened with stuff stolen and they blamed USPS. They did not contact me to tell me stuff was taken out of the box because they said my contact information was gone. I immediately went to the store to see the box and my name was still on it with my contact information. I had to wait almost 2 weeks just for the transfer worker to inprocess the firearm. I went back and forth for days trying to sort it all out. I was told everything was good then I could pick it up the next day. When I went in the next day they said that my gun wasn't even there and had no idea what I was talking about and were going to send the firearm back to the sender even though I had already put eyes on the box and firearm. My first 2 transfers were still quite annoying because it took them almost 2 weeks again to in process the firearms. Don't waste your time here. Go to The Hub. Better customer service, same day transfers!

Roy did a wonderful job at helping with current laws and restrictions re handguns. When you call ask for a supervisor or an experienced tech. This avoid repetition

Went in with a scope, rings and rifle to get my scope mounted. Got it bore sighted out to 100 yards and I got sub MOA groupings every time. Thankyou so much to the gunsmith on Thursday 11/30/23. I think his name was Peter, he rocked. Came in as a walk in and was taken care of in minutes. Even picked up a couple cool empty 7.62 ammo crates, great experience and recommend Diamondback to everyone.

This used to be my favorite shop in Tucson, but after a recent visit I have to revisit my review. This place has lost some of its way. I came in to buy a lower but after being ignored for about 15 minutes, I decided to leave. They're still well stocked in supplies and still the best in town for that. But if you're looking for any interaction for the staff, this just isn't the place anymore

I've purchased ammunition numerous times over the years from here. Their price if competitive with whole sale or bulk purchase, if you factor in shipping cost. It's not always the best price, but it's a good deal if you need to grab a few rounds instead of a few thousand. I've also used the finger printing service several times. They do a good job as my applications have been at the Federal and State levels, and only one set has been rejected (Illinois, they are super picky when you don't use their in State services).I do agree with some of the other reviews, that there is often a waiting period before someone comes to help you. However, I would like to point out that at times they have so many customers, there's not enough employees to assist one-on-one. Once a Diamondback employee does make contact, they're always helpful. If they can't answer my question, they find someone who can.

Not ideal for trying to buying a firearm online and getting a firearm transferred to this location. I would never recommend this store again to any of my co workers. When calling for about a week. Each sales person said they would contact me when they are done with the process never did. It took a total of 4 with a walk in to finally get my firearm. The last person who had a bad attitude young skinny with small beard said they don’t have a phone number listed For my firearm and said that’s why they never texted me. I told him I called 3 times about it. Why didn’t they say anything about it. Well sure enough no response. Would not deal with them again. I have bought so many firearms from this place and collected so many vintage firearms.. this is how I get treated. Any other customers who has problems with the reps I’m willing to testify. I also noticed previous google reviews about poor customer service and FFL transfers are terrible here. I ended up purchasing a Hellcat pro at this place after getting my online stribog all in one transaction….. I kind of regret buying the hellcat pro because of the sales rep attitude. Been shopping at diamond back for years and never felt so disrespected.

Unfortunately, the other poor reviews are correct. My husband and I stopped in today for the first time. No one greeted us upon entry. There was one other shopper being helped by someone towards the back, but the remaining four or five staff members were free to help. We walked around the pistol cases, hoping to find a Steyr, chatted, stopped and admired a used Staccato, and were actually interested in taking a look at it. We lingered at the case for a couple more minutes and then walked out, baffled that they could have made a sale on a gun marked at 3k/negotiable but too inept to provide basic customer service. No one said a word to us the entire time we were in the store or as we left. We are approachable, clean and casually well-dressed folks - maybe we just don't look like we belong in a gun store. We were looking forward to a good afternoon off from work and possibly coming home with a new firearm. Bummed that this was our experience here. We have much better service at The Hub and Turner's.

I found Diamondback Tucson very friendly to beginners. Whether you are making your first firearm purchase or just want to take classes - I found both experiences very positive. Shout out to Instructor Grimm! He is the best!!

Best gun shop I ever had the privilege of going to. I pick this shop over any shop in Phoenix area. Staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and has a lot of great deals and prices you can’t beat on firearms. The shop also has pretty much everything you need. I have no problem traveling to Tucson to shop with them.

Gave it 1 star for poor customer service. Ordered 5 boxes (5 rounds each) of 00 buckshot by Federal Power Shok on their website. Paid $38.40. Got an email stating they would notify me when the order came in. Order date: 6/28/2023. After a week, I tried emailing them asking for an order update regarding delivery. No response. Tried calling them several times, no one answered the phone, and only got voicemail. Left a message, asking when my order would come in, and they never returned my call. Today, 13 days after the order was placed, I finally went into the store, and asked why they don't respond to emails or voicemail, or answer the phone. No response. I then asked when my order would be delivered. Was told they had no idea, because they don't control online shipments. I asked for a refund because, while in the store, I found a box of 25 Winchester Super X 12 gauge 00 buckshot in stock, for $29.95. When the clerk checked, he said my order had come in, so they could not give me a refund and instead, let me buy the less expensive ammo they had on hand. Reason? The ammo I had paid for in advance would have to be returned to their wholesaler, and could not be put on the shelf since they don't pay full retail price. Giving me the refund and deducting the box of ammo they had on hand would have saved me $8.00, but they wouldn't do it, since my order had "apparently" arrived on the same day that I was forced to go into the store to check on it. Had to accept the order, and forget about buying cheaper ammo that they had on hand. So much for customer service. Wanted to purchase a new Taurus GX4 pistol ($348.70) while in the store, but after the way I was treated on the ammo, I decided not to give them the business.

My wife and I attended the Introduction to Handguns and Concealed Carry Firearms courses, and found the instruction, convenient scheduling, and information provided, to be outstanding. The classroom and live-fire training gave my wife the confidence to EDC, and she had no prior experience at all. You won't beat the knowledge gained for the affordable prices, and the vast array of weapons and accessories, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff, make it a 1-stop-shop for all of your force multiplying needs. I highly recommend Diamondback.
