Never expecting much means I'm never disappointed utilizing Dollar General.
This particular store is always clean and staffed by the friendliest associates.
It's seemingly well stocked and has proven especially useful when needing small items while in the area.

They have literally everything. Food, clothing, drug store items, gifts. It is amazing what they fit in this store st remarkably low prices. Stop here first. Friendly knowledgeable staff.

The company is updating all their stores. And it's a good change. They're adding a lot of cooler items and frozen items in the prices are very competitive. I live way outside of town and Dollar general is the first store that I come to when I go to town. It's the closest thing to me so the change for me is very beneficial. And I think it'll be beneficial for everybody. They're adding a lot of value to the store.

I went in to find empty shelves, the manager talking to a friend, went to pay and wrong prices in register that was taking forever to fix! They did not have either in the store or the register what the circular said they had. Avoid this store!

No public restroom. Which kinda sucks, and when I asked before even knowing they did not have one, the worker was rude about it. Smh..

This dollar general is selling poison/ laced cigarettes, tobacco. The employees are being paid to sell this product to me. They have been lied to and paid money to assault me with this product. Laura hatch and Brandon hatch are being paid to distribute this product.

Though I have shopped here regularly for the past 4 years, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Dollar General any longer.Reason: Despite an employee admitting that the only way an incorrect item can be scanned and added to a receipt is if a cashier made the mistake, Dollar General refused to refund money for a gift card that was incorrectly processed by their own employee.Summary: After purchasing and immediately giving my parents gift cards to go on a trip to visit family as my father is battling stage 4 cancer, his health declined and their trip was delayed. When they finally went to use the gift cards, Visa informed them that one was never properly activated (the card in question) and one had been hacked and shut down by Visa to save the remaining funds.While willing to refund the smaller balance that had been hacked, which was not in question, Dollar General refused to refund the card that, in their own words, their own employee incorrectly processed.So they took $600 from me and, indirectly, my ailing parents, and then offered a refund of less than $200 for the hacked amount, that, without Visa, would not have been caught.Even though I still had the receipt, which I turned over to the manager of the store and never heard from again, and Visa confirmed the situation was not the fault of the customer, Dollar General stated video proof of the employee improperly processing it was needed. Dollar General then informed me there was no way to obtain such video as they only keep records for so long.Essentially, I was presented with an impossible way of obtaining a refund: Either present a receipt for an item I never purchased or received OR find video that doesn't exist. Then they stopped responding.The worst part is not the loss of money to a company that I used almost exclusively to supply my community outreach services. The worst part is my sick parents feeling as though it is their fault for not using the cards quickly enough. Even though the reason they didn't was because of a serious illness.A company that would treat customers and people this way when all that was requested was a review and refund for the gift card their employee failed to properly activate, is not a company I want associated with myself, my family, or the children and families we endeavor to serve.This is my personal experience and is in no way a reflection of how others may be treated at this location or by this corporation.Proof of receipt attached as supporting evidence of purchases.
