If there were negative numbers, I would have checked that box. Brought my dog in knowing he had CHF. The vet wanted to do x-rays and became irate when I asked for medication to hold him over for a week so our family could say their goodbyes upon returning from their travels. Suddenly, the vet stated she didn't believe in "palliative care" and refused to prescribe any medication. When she said that, I asked why she wanted to perform an x-ray if she had no intentions of prescribing any medications. This struck a chord with her and she flipped telling me that if I didn't like it I could leave. She kept repeating herself like she was from the hood. The front desk women were just as shocked and reluctantly gave me the name of the owner of the clinic after I told them the vet claimed she was the owner. I had to report the vet for misconduct it was so bad. A week later we had to humanely euthanize our dog and did so at another vet that provided a private room for us. The vet came out and apologized for our loss and the entire staff was so supportive, unlike Pima Pet Clinic. And I hope someone from Pima Vet Clinic is reading this because you should all be ashamed of yourselves for treating animals and their families so poorly!

What a horrible place. I took my dog who was in distress to Pima Pet. They did 1000s of dollars of tests and scheduled a follow up. Over the weekend she had a breathing episode and I took her to a difference clinic, they were able to tell me she had a terminal condition and we made the very sad choice to end her suffering. Pima pet are greedy thieves who extend suffering to line their pockets. I would never go there again!!!!

Called this place regarding my dog with swollen feet from a bandage. The receptionist basically said "it's 5pm. We aren't helping any more patients." She could have just answered my question of if this constituted as a emergency or not, but instead was rude and wanted off the phone. I've also been here before for my other dog, whom they treated for an ear infection. Their "one time" treatment did not work, and he had the infection for another month before my vet could see him and fix it. Just go to the ER. This place isn't even a band-aid for a problem

I had to bring my dog into urgent care and PIMA was so incredibly kind, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and gave my Waylin the best possible care. I can't say enough good things. From the wonderful staff at the front desk to the nurses and Dr., they all are amazing. I feel comfort knowing they really care about what they do and me and my pet. I recommend them tremendously

My dog had a growth on her head that had recently started to become an issue. I had to work so gave my dog to my father to take to VCA. They told me since it was not life threatening that they would not see her. This growth had started to bleed and break open and was a serious issue for infection. After calling around he found Pima Pet and they said to bring her in right away. They got her in immediately and scheduled a surgery for her. This was at about 1030am. By 630pm she had the surgery and was ready to come home. The staff was super friendly and helped me with everything. Wish this was a normal vet that I could keep bringing her. Def recommend them.

First, you may have to wait. Know this going in. That being said, the staff is lovely. They really are. My pittie is super high strung but the atmosphere had him fairly calm, at least until the doctor tried to touch him lol. They showed genuine care and concern my my pup's issues and was very thorough in their instructions. I also appreciated the follow up phone call. If your regular vet isn't available right away, I really do recommend this clinic.

I took my baby Wishbone here because he was having an eye irritation that just wasn't going away. I called 6 different clinics and a emergency before I was recommended to check Pima clinic. The wait wasn't too bad at the time I came 9:45/10am. The staff was very friendly, one even cleaned up the food my dog threw up, in the parking lot after I alerted them he yakked. The Dr thoroughly cleaned Wishbone's eyes and ran test to make sure his eye wasn't injured or still had something stuck in it. I was very satisfied when I got him back. The dr said they didn't find any scar or anything in his eye. They told me to keep the appointment I had for his regular vet that is a couple weeks away for him to get a check up. Possible allergy or irritation from something getting in it.

I've been here twice and both times I had a great experience. I was taken back fairly quickly and the vets there are so kind and caring. Best emergency vet I've been to.

Don't even bother calling. I called to try and see if I could get my cat in for an emergency. I was cut off before even explaining the situation and was told they were completely booked for the day. At least hear me out? It was extremely rude... I can guarantee I won't try calling/going in again. VCA Valley Animal Hospital & Emergency off 22nd ended up taking us in, and out kitty has completely recovered. Just in case you're looking to go somewhere that cares.

According do veteran pet techs there most dogs that are dying are not even worth trying to fix so I don't see why you'd waste your time here if your dogs in critical condition.

I took my dog because he was not eating and drinking any water for 3 days . He was crying and shaking like crazy with abdomen pain. They ran blood and urine tests and said everything was fine that he wasn't in any pain. That he was in good shape. Mind you when I took him back home he did not want to get up because he was in so much pain and still wasn't eating. I drove to Mexico to get my dog checked. They ended up doing x-rays on him which Pima clinic did not do. My dog ended up having p*** and pee in his stomach which resulted in PAIN. They also saw the glucose levels and they were too high! And Pima clinic said he was just fine. I paid $920 here for them not to help my dog. Only good they did was getting my dog in last minute.

I called at 3 on a Saturday due to my furry buddy having blood tinged watery stools. They advised to bring him in before 4 as they were extremely busy. I dropped off my buddy at 3:45, got an update by Dr. Bejarano at 6 and had my Luka back home with some oral antibiotics by 7. I've read most reviews which are mainly complaints on the wait. I believe ratings are important but not just for the wait, it should include the quality care they offer as your pet is being cared for which is why I am giving this place 5 stars. Thank you Dr. Bejarano, Stephanie and Shannon for your help and excellent customer service.

Put me on hold for twenty minutes when I called about an emergency walk-in. Hung up and called back to the same lady - seems like she forgot I was on hold. Doesn't seem like they have their s*** together.

So thankful they were open on Christmas Eve! The clinic staff was excellent and kept me updated as I had to wait in my car due to the pandemic. Dr. Bitz did a very thorough exam and spent a good amount of time discussing the likely cause of my dog's injury and giving me different treatment options. Did not do any imaging or labs without first discussing options for conservative management. They were able to give me the medication to take home. Very professional and caring staff. Very reasonable pricing for urgent/emergent care.

Waited over 4 hours to be seen and that's only because I mentioned something to the receptionist that we've been waiting for over an hour in the back room after 3 hours in the lobby. Vet was in the room soon after, so what what she doing the whole time we were waiting when she was immediately able to come in after a complaint? She wasn't of much use or informative. No doubt will get the same reply as others who post honest feedback about the very long unnecessary wait, that it's "like a human HR". Need to come up with an excuse that's more believable than the equivalent to a dog eating your homework. . Go elsewhere.
