On 9/1/2022 I brought my JVC receiver in because of crackling in volume.I paid $25 for diagnostic to shop owner,I told him I had volume potentiometer cleaned /lubricated several times and it works for several days then goes bad.Told shop owner I just want it fixed,not cleaned/lubricated.Shop owner called on 9/8/2022 that receiver was repaired and cost $50.After I paid him he told me he was not able to get the parts so he cleaned it,I told him i did not want that.Either pay or don't get receiver back and no warranty!On 9/9/2022 the receiver started crackling,I went to the shop requested a refund ,he refused.I told him I would write a bad review and file a complaint with Better Business Bureau,shop owner said go ahead.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Dropped my unit off on June 20th and was told it would take a week to diagnose the issue. A week goes by with no call. I called and was told they needed more time, then more time, then more time, then more time. I never received a call from them, always me having to call and check on the status of my unit. Bottom line is picked up my unit on August 25th, over 5 weeks later without and an answer, or refund. No communication, excuse after excuse, horrible customer service. I will never take anything there again and will warn all my audiophile friends to avoid this place at all costs. I'd drive to Phoenix before I use them. To quote Monte Python, "Run Away!"

This company is a joke. They wont fix your unit on time or act morally or professionally. Set up an appointment with GeekSquad, they sent him. He calls me and yells at me about the info on my WO being vague, demands I email him pictures, videos, and other info of the issue and information on the unit. Shows up 2 weeks later to diag and order parts. Then I'm waiting over a month for repairs and he calls and rescheduled me several times, even on the day of service. Arrived at my home (month and a half later) and says he cant do the repair cause I have things plugged into my TV still and its not unmounted from the TV stand (NOT A WALL) that's less than 5ft off the ground. They will find anyway to avoid performing the repairs. Look else where for service and if your insurance/service contract company wants to send him request someone else. Avoid this company at all cost!

Make surewhen you pick up your old product that hasn't been repaired because he doesn't know what he's doing make sure you get all your parts back I found that he changed parts in mine and they were old and bad parts and tried to keep my good parts I had a Magnavox DVD player/VHS recorder that he could not repair didn't know what was wrong ?☹️
