Please choose another European mechanic! After spending $6000+ in repairs on my BMW, my car had to be towed in for yet another issue. I was quickly told my engine was done. No options, no discussions! So being a female that knows nothing about cars, I took their word for it and sold the car on Facebook Marketplace for $800 and was forced to go buy another car. The guy that bought the car, came driving up my driveway a week later to tell me it cost him $89 for a timing gear!!!! Really unfortunate set of circumstances for me. This situation cost me thousands of dollars for European Auto Tech negligence!! Go someplace else!!

John and the crew at European Autotech have been taking care of my vehicles since the late 90’s.First off, I have never seen a shop so consistency clean. It is great to know that the environment is clean and tidy. What sets them apart: honesty, reliability, friendliness and knowing the job will be done right. The prices are always lower than the Stealership, and done with more care.Dana and Linda at the front are always friendly and helpful. I have been in a few binds, and they were able to assist and get me on the schedule.Any service that needs to be performed will be shown to you, as well as explained in layman’s terms. The Cliff Notes Version- I won’t be taking my vehicles to anyone else.

I look forward to doing business with them again.

I’ve used European Auto for service on my older Mercedes ML for several years. I’ve always found them honest and very professional. Recently the car developed a weird sound that avoided detection on two or three visits to the shop. It kept coming and going, but gradually got louder and more frequent. European finally found it (a small bushing extremely hard to see). After all their time spent, they not only fixed it; they refused to charge me for the work because of the “hassle” of having to come in so many times before it was resolved. What businesses do you know that put their customers first like that? If you need service, go there with absolutely no hesitation or concern. You’ll be glad you did. And Linda is particularly pleasant.

I took my BMW X5 here to get some major repairs done. Overall, I had a great experience with them. The repairs were done right and they communicate very well with what's going on. They were not pushy at all about repairing the minor things that needed to be done on my vehicle. Which was nice. Some shops will do that. I'll definitely be taking my vehicle here from now on to be serviced and for any other future repairs.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Top notch place to take your vehicle ?They do everything right from communicating, attention to detail, and friendliness! Very pleased and am returning for some deferred maintenance on my 2015 BMW 328 diesel.I really was impressed and they come in as estimated in the beginning. No surprises or up selling.

Took daughters car in for a check up before driving back home 15 hours after her school ended. They were very good to responding and the work done quickly. They offered car shuttle rides back to my hotel, but that day they didn't have it available so they gave me credits for an Uber ride there and back. I highly recommend this import auto shop. I will be using them every year until my daughter graduates college.

Robert was professional, gave me an estimate the same day, made my appointment in a reasonable timeframe and the work was done in one day. I received much better service than I received at the Porsche dealer.

Get you in as soon as the schedule allows and do a great job troubleshooting before they give you a repair quote. Found a major issue on my car that other shops hadn't identified.

I have owned a 2001 Jetta GLX since 2010 and have only ever used EAT for service and repair, with the exception of bodywork. While I am a certified commercial aircraft mechanic, due to injuries and an autoimmune disorder, I am increasingly being limited in how much of that type of work I can do as I slide into middle age.My VR6 threw the timing chain at 122k Mi. EAT was able to do a top overhaul and restore the engine. It took two replacement pistons and several new valves. It wasn't cheap at over $7k but considering the stealership told me it was scrap and I have since driven the car for a decade, I would say it was a wise investment. Plus, it is the most enjoyable car I have ever had the pleasure to use as a daily driver.Doesn't really matter if it is a VW, BMW, Merc or even a Fiat. If you have a European car and want to save a bit of money while getting the best experts in town to fix your car, European Auto Tech is the place to go. They have saved me money many times in the past by repairing electrical and electronic components that the stealership would insist on replacing. In fact, that's how I first found EAT, way back in 2010, when the relay module above the battery fried itself. They must have repaired it 3 or 4 times before it was too far gone and I had to buy a replacement.Sadly, they will no longer install customer sourced parts but it is with good reason. They offer an excellent (for the industry) warranty and as such, they want control over sourcing parts. Other than that, they have never disappointed.I will also be seeking their expertise whenever I get around to buying another daily driver (this Jetta is just too hard to replace), I will be turning the old girl into a weekend warrior and it is just the sort of job they look forward to. There is only so much I can do myself, lacking a hydraulic lift and having a bad back. It is also likely the Mk IV will be replaced by a newer Type R and guess where I will be taking it for at least some of the maintenance and repairs....Services: General repairs & maintenance

Very knowledgeable staff, both in the office and in the bays. Found and fixed multiple problems, accurately and efficiently. They accomplished what the local Mercedes dealership on one of their competitors could not do. Pricing was competitive and service was well above the competition. I will bring our Mercedes back for future maintenance.Services: General repairs & maintenance

This is a must-read for anyone using Mercedes Benz of Tucson for Service. I shudder at the fact they "serviced" it since 2009. I had the costly misconception they were the most qualified until several of their misdiagnoses practically deemed my car undrivable.A friend of mine raved about European Auto Repair, and out of desperation, I thankfully. brought my car to them, Every one of their employees is not only exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, but they are all consummate professionals. After several extensive corrections and repairs, the results exceeded my expectations. My car is as peppy and beautifully responsive as it did several years ago. It is, once again, a pleasure to drive. Thank you, European Auto Repair. I am immensely grateful!Services: Engine repair

Let me start by saying that I’m a rocket scientist/engineer who grew up poor doing most of the required work on his own vehicles. Also, I generally understand the work being proposed and being done.I went to European Auto Tech because this shop has been around awhile and appears as a sponsor on the local BMW Car Club of America’s website as a sponsor of that club. What follows is what I experienced at this shop when they recently did a repair. My goal for writing this review isn’t to damage someone’s reputation and business but to communicate what you too may experience and to help this shop be better.I brought my 04 BMW Wagon in for an alignment and to have tie rod ends and stabilizer bar links replaced. European inspected the vehicle and let me know that it needed additional bushings associated with the suspension. No mention of a worn steering rack was communicated at this time. I picked up my car a few days later and felt that the steering wheel was clocked slightly to the left when going down a straight road, also I noticed that about 30-40 miles had been put on the car. I brought it back to European and communicated this and they put another 30 miles or so on the car and said that they didn’t agree. The lady, Dana stated that because my steering rack was worn, this could be the cause. My car has a sport suspension and I noticed that the alignment sheet they provided had specs for a standard suspension. I brought it back for a 3rd time and this time to avoid what appeared to be someone running errands in my car, I took it to the shop that European sub-contracts with for alignments. The alignment shop corrected the alignment and gave the car back to me. No apologies were offered for me taking time off of work for a third time trying to get my alignment done correctly, by either European or the alignment shop. I continued to feel that the steering wheel was clocked slightly to the left and European said that this was most likely due to a worn steering rack. I pointed out that if the steering rack was worn they should have said that they couldn’t perform an alignment without that being replaced. Having lost confidence in European, I took my car to the BMW dealer and got an alignment. The front was within specification but the rear had to be adjusted. The BMW dealer said nothing about the steering rack being worn. I asked European for the money I paid them for an alignment back and after about 2 weeks and a few phone calls they refunded my money. No apology was offered.I believe this shop is attempting to do the right thing and are hard working people getting up every morning and going to work which is more than can be said for a lot of people. I didn’t appreciate the runaround though and won’t be back. I think the dealer is your best chance to get work done correctly but I’ve had them do poor work too. Yes. I’m a hard customer to please.
