The Franklin Auto Museum is a hidden gem in Tucson that features a notable collection of classic Franklin automobiles, including many rare and unrestored low-mileage cars. Visitors can enjoy guided tours led by knowledgeable staff or volunteers who share detailed stories about the history and significance of these pre-World War II vehicles. The museum provides an engaging experience suitable for all ages, with special attention to families, including children obsessed with anything on wheels. The setting is unique, as the cars are displayed in structures within a historic Arizona desert ranchito, adding to the charm of the museum. Admission is affordable, with discounts for seniors and students, and children under 12 can enter for free. The museum operates from mid-October to mid-May, Wednesday through Saturday, with special tours available by appointment during the summer months. Visitors praise the friendly staff, the in-depth guided tours, and the opportunity to learn about automotive history in a warm and welcoming environment. Overall, it offers a memorable and educational experience for car enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.
I'm not a car nerd but this was a fascinating museum to visit. Highly recommended even if you're not interested in cars. And don't turn down the guided tour. Our tour guide provided all sorts of really interesting information.

We visited the Franklin Auto Museum not knowing much about the Franklin Auto. Our tour guide Bert was very knowledgeable about Franklin Auto and many others including the Flanders Auto. Our tour guide made our visit very interesting and educational. Thank you very much for your kindness!
