St Patrick's Day was so much fun! Music was a little loud, though.

Terrible service only got drinks after 10-15 minutes of waiting. Then food came 45 minutes after drink which were ordered at the same time. No server apologed for the wait of tried to explain why they were never to be seen. Then when food arrived it was all room temp not hot or warm, my bun was burnt making an already dry burger more dry.

Decent pub with a sittable - albeit not large - bar. They have a lot of taps. It wasn't open when I was there but F&F features a large back room with a pool table. Looks good if you're towing a lot of friends. $5 pint was nice - it was probably happy hour. I still managed to spend $10 on the beer as the bartender swooped in and snatched the five ones I had on the bar in front of me without a word. Guess she thought her service deserved a 100% tip! Lol.

Tried their burger, it was good, but the place overall has a great atmosphere with big screen for live events.

A fun place for people watching on University Avenue. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. Try the roast beef sandwich!

The dead atmosphere should have tipped us off. To repeat a previous reviewer, the server was nice enough, but 40 minutes to bring out onion rings and steak sandwich is unacceptable. Kitchen staff must have been MIA.

On January 18 I went to the Frog and Firkin for an early dinner. Our dinner was fair but the fall was DANGEROUS! KEEP READING... We were seated inside and had to go up on a raised platform (approximately 1 foot high and 48 inches in length in order to sit on the bench) to sit at our table. The platform was dark in color. During dinner I needed more water and the server had not returned to our table so I decided to go and get a refill. I didn't remember there was a platform to step down from. There was no caution tape on top of the step to warn me you had to step down. I walked forward and fell off of the step and face planted on the floor. The manager Brittany came running over to me. I picked myself up and sat back down. Brittany brought me water. She asked if I was okay and asked if I needed medical attention. I was in shock from the fall and I said I think I'm okay. My arm and elbow were hurting and there was a scrape on my arm near my elbow. She said I can call an ambulance and they can take you to the ER. I said I don't think I am hurt bad enough for a paramedic/ambulance.I was on vacation and really didn't want to spend 6 hours in the ER and them to tell me nothing was broken-which I already knew. I asked her for contact information for the restaurant because I told her I was hurting and would be able to tell her tomorrow how I was doing. She told me she had fallen on that step HUNDREDS of times and it was DANGEROUS. She also said they had customers who fell on the step. Our server came a few minutes later to check on me. He said he had fallen on that same step and it was dangerous. That evening I returned to our hotel after dinner. I was really hurting and took some advil and went to bed. The next day we had several things planned but we skipped most of them so I could return to Phoenix to see my chiropractor. He said my upper and lower back and neck were out of place. He adjusted me. Brittany called to check on me on the nineteenth and I told her we left Tucson early so I could return to Phoenix to receive medical care. I was actually hurt from my fall. I asked her to pay for some of my chiropractor appointments and I told her it was going to take some time to heal. Brittany told me that they were not obligated to pay for any medical bills because I refused an ambulance and a trip to the ER. I told her the platform really needed to be marked so people wouldn't fall. Had I seen yellow caution tape on the step I would not have fallen. She agreed and told me she was going to get some tape and mark the top of the step so others wouldn't fall. Did she? Since my fall I have gone to the chiropractor's office each day for an adjustment. (1/19/24-2/2/24) On two days I had to return to the chiropractor's office for a second adjustment because my back came out of alignment and I was really hurting. He told me he thought I had a ligament sprain and because the ligament was injured it would take time for it to heal and prevent my back from going out of line. I have been taking advil and using ice daily to help decrease the pain. I have not been able to help my husband much and had to hire caregivers to assist him while I heal. My fall has been a problem as I am a full time caregiver, responsible for my husband. It has been very difficult to attend to his needs with my hurt back. BEWARE PEOPLE!! You must go to the ER and let this irresponsible restaurant pay for not marking the step. I am sure Frog and Firkin depends on your insurance to pay and they try to get out of any responsibility. They really need to mark the top of the step to prevent falls. My husband has to suffer because they didn't take care of a dangerous situation and knew MANY have fallen. I know I won't be back!

The Truffle fries here are delightful! Well seasoned and the dip is perfect. The pizza and salads have been consistently good too.

Was one of my favorite places on University Ave when I was in school and went back recently and it is still great. Burgers and pizza are some of the more popular dishes. Wide drink selection and great outdoor seating. Can get crowded on game days but still highly recommend this place if you are near the

We came on a normal Wednesday and waited 20 minutes for water and 40 minutes for our food, including our appetizer, and never received refills. The actual food is delicious and our server was nice but it was unfortunate that the wait was ridiculous.
