I purchased a sofa online only to be told it would not be available for a month, and that it could be longer if there were delays. I then found out that Sam Levitz no longer was associated with Ashley furniture brand, which was the couch I had ordered. They tried to get me to buy something else (bait and switch) and made it difficult for me to talk to someone so I could cancel. They took the order on the day I canceled, knowing that it was not in stock and that they would not be able to fulfill the order. When I cancelled they told me it would take ten days for the money to be returned to my bank account. This company is morally bankrupt.

I ordered an entire bedroom set from the Sam Levitz on Orange Grove, for some crazy reason Ashley took over the nightstands and delivered those only. The bedroom set has been on back order for 4 months and I still haven't received it but I have the nightstands that I tried to return because what do I need the nightstands for without the bedroom set! I was told by Sam Levitz there is nothing they can do to return them! Even though I purchased them thru Sam Levitz and I paid for them thru Sam Levitz I was told too bad!! I will never shop there again! I am out $600 !

Told me delivery day is Friday , waited all day no show no call. I tried to get it delivered on Saturday the day after , Nothing but a bunch empty promises, never shop here. Terrible delivery service.

The worst customer and maintenance service i have ever experience. I brought the warranty back in July and couch broke in Nov 2023. it's Feb 2024 and they received the wrong part so back to wait. This is after they miss two service appointments. It'a below a one star

This company has the shittiest customer service. They will hang up on you and to get something fixed for a warranty takes these assholes 6-9months to do anything. I will never again in my life purchase anything from this company. If you have purchased anything from this company good luck

Our experience at Sam Levitz ended up not being what we had hoped. We purchased our couch on November 8th and were told 4-6 weeks for delivery. The process of purchasing took longer than expected, especially since we were paying cash and not financing. I was a little too kind in my first review about our actual sales rep, as well. We worked with Chuy. My partner had gone in there the previous day to browse and Chuy had gone over the details of the warranty with my partner. The next evening, we returned to look at a few options and purchase. We had family in town, so I was privately chatting with my aunt off to the side while my partner told Chuy of our decision and declined the warranty. Chuy loudly interrupted our conversation to say "he said no, but I wanted to talk to you about the warranty". I explained that I was already familiar, but he insisted on explaining it. When there was a pause in the conversation, I asked "what would the additional cost be?" and he snapped "let me finish!" back at me. I then told him that my partner had already declined the warranty and we were not interested. It felt like dad said no, so he was asking mom. We were originally given the first week of December as an estimated due date. That came and went. Then it was mid-December. Then they were "getting a delivery of about 100 couches at the end of the month and maybe we would get one of those". Then it was mid-January. I don't understand why they can't look at how many were purchased and how many they're receiving and tell you if one of them is yours. At this point, we decided to cancel. We went into the store and worked with the store manager, Mike. Naturally, he asked if there was anything he could do to keep our business. When we declined and said we still wanted to cancel, he offered to "take a couch from someone who hadn't yet paid in full and give it to us". When we declined that and questioned him about this practice, he became very rude. They then refunded us the wrong amount and we had to call for a correction. Overall, what a nightmare. Pro-tip: when you call in, select option "1" to speak with sales to be connected to someone immediately. Any other option will have you on hold for hours. Better pro-tip: just buy elsewhere.

ok so I was there for a while trying to figure out the financial side of it and it was taking all longer than I expected, but thanks to hazel she was so nice and informative anything I had a question to if she didn't have it she got it! so the wait didnt matter she was just a great soul to work with will definitely be back, thanks hazel! will make sure to ask for you when I come in!

Great service from Eric. I was waiting on an ottoman a little longer then I wanted too but the weekly updates made it worth waiting and today I got the call it was in and ready for delivery I will continue to recommend my friends and family to Eric.

Do not order furniture from Sam Levit's unless you want it to come months after they tell you it would get delivered. I ordered a couch, coffee table, and tv stand at the beginning of August. The salesperson was super pushy and made it quite the unpleasant furniture shopping experience. He tried pressuring me into buying as much furniture as he possibly could and then told me it would arrive late August to early September. I called in late August to see when the furniture would arrive and they pushed back the delivery date to a month later. I called again a couple weeks later and they did the same thing over again. Finally I called again and they said they could deliver the couch, which they did. They said the tv stand and coffee table were still delayed. Now here I am in November when all of the furniture was supposed to be delivered 3 months ago with only the couch. I called again to see when the other 2 pieces of furniture were going to be delivered and they just now tell me the coffee table I ordered was discontinued and they tried to sell me the floor model at a "discounted" price. They said the tv stand would be in by the end of this month (yeah right) so I just cancelled the order. Literally do not order furniture from them unless you're willing to wait or maybe not even get it. Plus they are so hard to reach on the phone. You will be on hold for at least 20 minutes and then they might put you back on hold. If you do end up ordering from Sam Levit's...good luck.

I went to a few furniture stores in the area but I ended up choosing this location to buy what I was needing! I felt more comfortable, the young man Johnny who was helping me was super informative and wasn't pushy. We are decorating a new space in our home and he helped me look at some potential pieces

My husband and I finally got the call our furniture was ready I was starting to lose my patience I appreciate my salesperson Eric keeping me updated on my order it did take a long time but since I got the call that it was ready I'm going to give 5 stars instead of 3.
