I have been a "frequent flyer" here for the past 3 years. Truly one of my favorite places to browse.

STAFF - need friendly, customer service oriented staff, Customer Service training 101 is a must. .... I have had several occasions where the staff was just rude, not willing to help, be kind at all - I left everything on the counter and just walked out. I will not shop, donate there anymore after yesterday !

Bike unfriendly—if you don’t have a car you can’t shop here, no place to lock you bike and the manager won’t let you put your bike off to the side. Plenty of space to put a bike off to the side, I could have locked the tire to the frame. So basically if you try to be responsible citizen and not drive a car, Goodwill isn’t the place for you. ??♀️

GREEDWILL. I asked the cashier if she thought these were overpriced and she definitely agreed with me. I asked to lower the price because it's literally more expensive now at goodwill USED! This meant the manager had to come over and she refused to lower the price because it has not been on the floor for 3 days. What a load of crap goodwill has become. Makes me not want to spend my money there or donate to your corporation. Have they always been this greedy?

This Goodwill store on Speedway is the messiest most disorganized thrift shop I've ever been to in my Life. I go to at least two thrift shops a week in different cities and states and I'm appalled at how landfill-looking this thrift shop is. They need to have a big sale 50 %ogg everything because they have so much stuff that it's all piled up and not organized and it's falling on to the floors. I told this thrift shopper how messy this store was and she says she's been to the other Goodwill stores, told me where they were and they're far better managed and very neat and clean. She told me another manager told her to call corporate and complain about the speedway store and she said she was going to do that. She said she used to know the manager of this store but now that person went to another store and knows what she's talking about how messy the store is. There wasn't anything I saw that I want to buy in this one. I also feel like the merchandise is in sadder shape than many of the other thrift shops it's a turn off. I was only at this thrift shop because I went to the passport center and stopped by on the way back just to see what I was missing. Well nothing. This thrift shop needs a better manager. I know that customers mess things up and don't put things back right but a good manager organizes and keep things neat like you clean your house because it got messier. You pick up the toys at your kids left all over, you make it nice.

Squalid..... This store smells terrible! I had to change clothes when I got home because the stench clung to me. I started sneezing in the store, and by the time I got home I had a sore throat and a headache. Every DVD I looked at was scratched and dirty. Multiple shirts had holes, and worst of all, there was a pair of jeans with a s**t stain in the seat. I couldn't get away from them fast enough... I do have to mention that the staff are friendly and cheerful, I can't imagine how, in such a filthy place.

Recommend: Not at this point. Zero restroom facilities makes this business un-recommended. Store is heavily trafficked and disheveled nearly every time visiting. To THIS date, the restrooms have yet to be opened up to the public, in August of 2023. I can't condone the lack of business empathy and basic etiquette and public function. Customers can not expect to spend their time here, much less children due to insufficient restroom amenities. Management NEEDS to get this corrected once and for all. It was a ridiculous concept to 'do this' during Covid, and no less absurd three years later.

Review for Goodwill on Speedway and Santo Rosa (3 stars):My recent visit to Goodwill on Speedway and Santo Rosa was a mixed experience. While the store had a decent selection of items, there were several aspects that left me feeling underwhelmed. Firstly, I encountered a particularly rude lady at the cash register, which definitely affected my overall impression of the store.Additionally, I was disappointed when I was told that the bathrooms were out of service, despite witnessing two employees using them. This inconsistency in information was frustrating. Furthermore, the store was filled with numerous kids, many of whom were crying and yelling, making it a distracting shopping environment.I believe that if the store allows children, there should be efforts to maintain cleanliness and organization. During my visit, I found it difficult to maneuver my cart through the aisles due to toys and miscellaneous items strewn about, which was quite inconvenient. On the positive side, I appreciated the store's decent selection of items, as there were some hidden gems to be found. However, improvements are needed to enhance the overall shopping experience, including better customer service and a more organized and kid-friendly environment.

I was able to find a pair of shoes that actually fit AND would support my ankles! No cheesecake pan, but now I'm able to wear shoes, that match, and fit! The cashier was friendly. I HAVE SHOES!!!

I’m 31 weeks pregnant and had to use the bathroom and they wouldn’t even let me use it but they let their staff use the bathroom and I feel very discriminated against and disrespected. I’m obviously showing already with being 31 weeks along and they still wouldn’t let me go. They were very disrespectful to me and my family as well about it.

Nice place to shop, one of my favorite goodwill store, but BE CAREFUL, the big older lady with short hair is very rude and constantly charges you wrong. This was the second time she made a mistake, the first time I caught it right away since I bought 7 kids clothes that should of been 1.19 and she charged me like 3.99 each so it was easy to notice the mistake. Ok no big deal anybody can make a mistake, but this last time she charge me 3.99 for an item that was 2.99 so I didn't notice until I got home. She should be in the donation center or stocking things but definitely not as a cashier.

My mother never let us miss out on an opportunity to give back to the community but more importantly, it was the individuals in our community who may have been less fortunate than we were at the time who she wanted to and had every intention to help out in any big or small way. And in our household growing up anything and everything that we outgrew, either in size, in desire or need to keep/hold onto would be set aside to be donated; there was no excuse for mindlessly throwing away anything that someone else might find useful or helpful to them. Donating any unwanted but still good-goods was the absolute very least we could do in terns of charity. I am now 30 years old and I have had struggles in my life, some I am not proud of and some I am proud to say I have overcome but the reality is that I am someone in my community who could use help; in other words, when we donated to Goodwill growing up I was under the impression goodwill was who we relied upon and entrusted to see that our donations served their purpose in helping those struggling with the same or similar circumstances I am in now but the sad and unfortunate truth is that this establishment DOESN'T EVEN LET ME INSIDE THERE DOORS to buy myself a cheap change of clothes because of the way they stereotype and unfairly judge me. I am homeless, and I understand homeless doesn't always look that pretty but I do my best with what is actually and immediately avaliable to me so that I can walk into public places confident that my hygiene, or lack of, will not be offensive to anyone. I might wear my shirt a day longer than I'd like too but I generally like to make sure I have a clean change of clothes for myself and you would think Goodwill would be a great option for someone in my position, who could really use a change of clothes for the $10 maybe $15 (if I'm really spoiling myself) I set aside for myself for a fresh set of clothes but instead I am asked to leave at the door or before I can even make it to the shirt isle because the employees would rather risk the possibility that they might end up seriously offening, embarassing and hurting the feelings of an inoccent and honest intended to be costumer then risk them turning out to be there to steal (when you would think the rational and fair, though maybe awkward 3rd option to just intensely monitor the individual to prevent potential theft would seem like the obvious choice) because someone like me surely doesn't have money to actually buy anything with. But the reality is I wouldn't even have a reason to go to a store or a Goodwill without cash to begin with. I don't steal. I'm not a theif. I'd rather wear the same dirty outfit a few extra days to give myself time to set a few dollars aside to be able to get myself a change of clothes then steal. I've left in tears, feeling more shame and embarrassment then the average person will ever feel throughout their lifetime the last 3 times I tried to go buy myself a change of clothes at this Goodwill.

Messy, unsafe and this nonprofit is only interested in putting merchandise on the rack. Store has clothes shoved everywhere in the racks, broken hangers sticking up and out, the one aisle has big items laying all over as if they fell off the shelf and not one employee thought to pick it up. Manager claims they had a change of management, 4 months ago, and they need more time to organize and clean. Constantly telling the workers to just put the rolling racks if clothes onto the floor racks. Which are so over stuffed you can't even look through it. Then they throw away stuff that doesn't sell after 2 weeks.
