Worked with a very miserable man today. He completely ignored every word I said and didn't offer a donation slip. Stood there 7 feet away with the cart doing nothing while I struggled to unload the donations and carried them to him. What's the point of having a cart with wheels if you're too lazy to even roll it one inch towards someone's car?

This was my all-time FAVORITE Goodwill store. I drove by yesterday and saw it fenced in and closed--a low-pitched wail came from my lungs as I drove away. Goodbye my sweet!

Well to let all of you living in the Outer Sunset know, the Irving location Goodwill is gone for good. I founded out the second to the last week of October, on my walk. I saw a Goodwill truck thought they were getting ready to open back up. So I went to the front took a peek for 10-12 seconds. A worker came to the door open and said we're closed. I told her I know that. I asked you getting ready to open back up look so empty. She said closing for good after 10 years here. Now the Outer Sunset is back to no Goodwill stores since as far as I can remember, from 1979 to sometime in 2010. Well now the closes Goodwill store is Height, West Portal and MAYBE the Inner Richmond neighborhood one at Clement(IF it has not closed up shop for good) in the process of opening back up.

Pride yourself on helping the community, but then shame and embarrass your customers. Pride yourself in care and send a manager out to yell and belittle me. I was incredibly kind and understanding and your manager came out guns blazing ready to kick me out, no concern for humanity at all. I was told I could wear a mask or leave and that if I had a problem call corporate. I was embarrassed when they announced over the intercom for a “code n”, forced me to step outside and tell me that I was not welcome in the store without a mask. When I mentioned that it’s because of a medical condition, I was told that it doesn’t matter, that I was required to wear one or I could not shop.

When dropping off donations, the employees have always been friendly and helpful. While shopping, items are very organized. Store is very clean.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Center is closed and boarded up, despite Google stating otherwise. Waste of my damn time.

For 9 years I went out of my way to make donations to this center because the young men who worked there were so helpful, kind and fun. The past several months I have had to deal with an angry, nasty, ungrateful, unappreciative, rude, mean woman named "Bertha". She is at least 20 years younger than I am but she complains about everything I hand her "too heavy". She obviously hates her job and has said she could care less if donors went elsewhere. She refused to give me a donor slip. So, I guess I am finished with this center. There is a Salvation Army much, much closer and if I am going to drive a distance, I'll just drive to Assistance League, Salpointe Thrift, St Vincent de Paul, or any place who appreciates donations and donors.

For the most part I take all of my stuff to Goodwill I recently had to take it elsewhere because they wouldn't take something that was used a bit more than all of the other stuff I had now I work construction and I'm pretty sure anybody would be happy with working appliances and chairs but I guess not everybody
