Okay so I didn't actually go there today but I have in the past and I thoroughly enjoy the guitar Center and so do my musician friends that's really all I got to say I admire the merchants bold and daring efforts to maintain product in the store that may be somewhat risky in terms of making profit.... Yeah some of what I said doesn't make sense but know that it's a great place to buy musical stuff adios

Too bad a store with so many good guitars has the WORST service you could ever imagine!! Used to go here a lot but would rather stop playing guitar than spend another penny at this place. Based on the vast majority of reviews, you can see they fail for most customers and apparently Mgmt / Owners don't care :( WOW!!!! I just read some more of the reviews and it looks like I had a "good" day at Guitar center. For the BEST service in town, check out Instrumental music center at Speedway and Kolb. They actually appreciate you coming there to spend your hard earned $$$$ and treat you like it!

We just had a fantastic time at Guitar Center Tucson! Gavin took his time with all our questions and needs, and we left with new gear and big smiles. Highly recommend this store!

I was at the Tucson store today. There were three people that I saw. One was at the cash register working, two were standing there and looked at meNo greeting ,nothing. I went into the acuistic guitar area. Looked around. Everything was locked up except a few guitars. Then came a group of young guys. They were loud and handling guitars like they were toys. I walked out and stood for minute. Both people were still standing in the same place. And both looked at me. And still didn't ask me if I needed help. So I left. I would have liked to looked at some guitars. I also tried calling later a no answer. So I give this place really no stars. They won't let me post no stars.

I hardly wanted to touch the door to enter due to the inches of body grease on it. No greeting. 2 workers at the accessories counter, that’s it. Nobody anywhere else in the store. Gear was FILTHY! Fingerprints all over everything, inches of dust on the drum sets. The floor in the cymbal room was disgusting. Saw dust all over the floor and garbage, empty water bottles on the floor. Had to spend more time tuning and setting up the drum kit than I cared to spend playing it. Not a single snare drum was tuned or ready to try out. Cymbals were coated with finger prints. Many missing instruments on the walls. Just empty hooks and dangling chords. Store floor hadn’t been seen by a vacuum in a long time. Women’s bathroom was broken and closed. Men’s was horrible. Bass guitars not ready to play due to dead batteries. I tried a passive Fender that the neck buzzed so badly I thought Bees were swarming. We walked the entire store without a single acknowledgment, nothing. Obviously GC has given up and doesn’t even try anymore. Store reflects it’s lack of pride, and respect for its customers.

The Wal-mart of music store, and that's NOT a compliment... dirty products everywhere, the most basic stock imaginable, and the customer service is non-existent. I asked the cashier/clerk if they had a product in stock, was told he had to look it up, and was promptly forgotten about. Would never in my life ever recommend anyone shop at this place. You're 100% better off buying from Amazon.

I was looking for a speaker wire but they didn't have it.The guy that assisted me, was very kind and helpful.I saw there only two workers in the front, and some people wanting there; it seems to that this is a very busy store. The restrooms are a terrible MESS. There was a licking and the carpet was floodedThe EMERGENCY EXIT was bloked with a later. Please invest in your stores to attract more customers, but more important, that we (CUSTOMERS) deserved to be treated as humans, because we your business. Thanks

Paid for an expensive 3 yr warranty for my brand new guitar (6 mo ago) and when I hooked it up to an amp for the first time it was cutting in and out, the electric parts were busted up. Took it back and they said they would do the repair and it would be covered under the warranty. Took them 3 months to repair it and they charged me over $100 with no discounts or coverage with the warranty. That's just terrible business.

Not sure how this store is even open still. Every month it seems to get worse and worse. Employees are rude and seem angry, the store is a mess - very dusty and dirty with things being out of place everywhere. It really looks like a second hand store. The guitars have grime and fingerprints all over them and are not taken care of properly. They also don't seem to ever have anything in stock except for cheap junk that no one else wanted. Their guitar tech never has any available appointments. Almost every aspect of this store is wrong.
