My experience is in reading these reviews which are negative. However the MOST negative part of the reviews is not the visitor experiences, it is the response of the library to them. All of the proposed solutions are for the library user to increase their confrontation withe the librarians. A TOTALLY inappropriate response for an agency to make. Basically the message is " We don't care about your bad experience. It is your fault that you are not making library staff behave differently. The library takes NO responsibility for the general behavior of employees reward consumers. "Just not our concern if you did not make staff behave appropriately toward you. Whatever you did wasn't effective, so solve the problem yourself" I have never heard such inappropriate responses of librarians anywhere previously.

No area to plug into a power outlet. I go often, and I had not been told before that I couldn't plug into the surge protector or outlets by computers. I have been told once before to just not block the area while using the same outlet or was not told anything at all, yet this is the first time I was specifically told not to plug into their devices. One was a wall outlet with no prohibiting use as other outlets have, and hasn't had one for the months I gone thee, and the other was a surge protector which is specifically made to ensure protection of other devices connected. The event felt like I was confronted without empathy and with a bit of discrimination. I wasn't aware of before, but when told, I asked if there was any place I could, where then I was told there was not much(which is nothing else really aside from a single room)and they will check if a study room is available which was never clarified to me if there was one or not. There is only one study room I have seen here. I didn't feel too good after that confrontation, and it was more upsetting since I was working on an important program prior to my laptop shutting off. It was confusing and it has made it harder for me to trust that my work can be done or ensured here. Only charging area is for phones and even this can't be used on hand since the charging box requires that the phone is left in and unusable while charging. I don't typically have problems here, but this really soured my experience and adds now anxiety if I must do research or work here when their own computers are unreliable.**Edit for the reply - I did ask the staff. That is what I meant by the confrontation. The person who I asked didn't get back to me whether there was a room available or not. I pretty much was dismissed.

Worst library I've visited in Pima County. No place to charge your phone. Don't waste your time here.
