We absolutely adore this school! From the staff to the teachers, everyone is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and you can see that they truly enjoy the children and their work. Our daughter wasn’t exposed to children much before attending preschool and since her time here, her social skills have grown so much and she loves going to school. I wish all schools could provide the same sense of wonder and excitement that ISP provides

Amazing school! All 4 of my children have attended ISP and loved every minute and every teacher! It makes my heart happy when they come home singing the days of the week in Spanish and counting in Farsi. They are learning so many things that our family could never teach them. My oldest is starting high school and is almost fluent in Spanish, which is directly related to the early years at ISP. I would recommend them to anyone with young children! Thank you International School for Peace!!!!!

We love this school! After Covid our 3 year old had had minimal exposure to other kids and was painfully shy. Because of this we were extremely hesitant to put her into a school. We toured several preschools in Tucson, and as a pediatrician, I was looking for a safe environment where she could set the groundwork for a love of learning. As soon as we met Cathy (the school director) we knew we were in good hands. The care that is taken to meet every child’s needs is exceptional- the teachers and Cathy have years of experience behind them and clearly love what they do. Our daughter has thrived in the school; it is a wonderful community and has taken her from a shy three year old to an outgoing and adventurous four year old. Lastly the multicultural curriculum has been wonderful at stimulating conversation at home about different cultures and traditions. We are thankful we found this school and program. If you are thinking about this school know that you are in good hands and can’t go wrong!

ISP has Poor teaching environment & Arrogant management. There are better, more caring places in Tucson for your kids.

This is a beautiful school that is the perfect size. It is big enough that there is always something fun planned, but all the teachers and staff know my son well and take great care of him! The teachers and the environment here somehow feel more gentle than other Preschools/Childcare centers too, which really helped my son when he first started. This school is a gem, and I feel my son is very safe and loved here.

My four-year-old loves his teacher and his class! He comes home singing songs and counting in Spanish, and he’s learning so much about different cultures. As a family, we appreciate the strong community and diversity of our school.

This was my son's first school experience and I'm so glad that it was at ISP! They had him fully potty trained in a month, and going to bed at home on time because he was worn out from the day. He never cried being dropped off, and even asked to go on the weekends. Would definitely recommend!

Both of my children have happily attended ISP. Due to their age difference they never attended together and we had an about two year break before my youngest was able to attend. When we came back, before we got any further than hello, the director asked about my older child by name and with genuine care asked how she was and which school she was attending. I saw that the majority of staff were the same as when we left, the low turn over is very telling about the school in general. My oldest child is both ASD and ADHD while she was at school there were many days that I would get a phone call to come pick her up early as she reached her upper limit to handle all of the input. I was never told anything about her coming back aside from "she's reached her limit today, we look forward to seeing her on her next day." They helped point is down the long path to eventually understanding why she would get so overwhelmed. As well as caring teachers and a director with over 20 years experience in early childhood education there is also a representative from the Easter Seals Blake Foundation who comes by to observe students and teachers and make suggestions to both based on behaviors seen in the classroom. This school has both partial and full immersion Spanish classrooms as well as enrichment classes in two additional languages, music, gardening, and special activities throughout the year. On top of all of this the is a strong emphasis on peaceful conflict resolution for students, parents and staff. I can not recommend them highly enough.

My child currently attends the International School for Peace (ISP) in the 2/3 year-old Partial Immersion class and we could not be more pleased!!! This is my child's first school experience and there were naturally tears at drop-off time for the first couple of days (for both he and I), however the warmth, understanding, patience and guidance by his teachers and the school director helped to ease my child into a smooth routine and now he is LOVING his school experience. I was floored when only weeks into school (and he only attends twice a week) he counted out his little Hotwheel cars in Spanish and is reciting his ABC's with delight. At ISP families are provided with an informative and fun newsletter every month which discusses upcoming activities that your child will have the opportunity to experience like Introduction to Farsi, Gardening, Music Appreciation, etc...not to mention the everyday exposure to Spanish! I really feel the school does an incredible job in maintaining professionalism and safety, while making each child feel like part of the ISP family. We could not be more thrilled or more satisfied with ISP!
