Iron Horse Park is a beautifully renovated favorite place, a cute little park tucked away near downtown. It is perfect with plenty of room to run and play. It features great dog parks, one for small and one for large dogs, with agility obstacles. There is a playground with swings, monkey bars, and more, plus shade trees, ramadas, and seating. The park is known for the fun, one-of-a-kind snake bridge that everyone loves to ride a bike down. It offers nice bike and walking paths that connect to Downtown, 4th Ave, and other trails. There is also a basketball court and a giant water fountain. The park is generally safe for kids and pets with frequent patrols, despite an occasional homeless presence in other areas. It is still a bit of a work in progress and is noted as needing a lot of repairs.
Our new favorite place!!! Such a cute little park tucked away right near downtown. It's perfect! It has plenty of room to run and play, with obstacles. We love the giant water fountain out front!

Love the poetry engraved on the monument. Definitely pause to read this poem.

There were loose dogs in the area. The park is a little sketchy.
