My 2013 Toyota Tacoma had an odd problem-the floor shifter wouldn't connect underneath/inside the console, & the engine wouldn't start. When it finally engaged into park, started & shifted into drive, I took it to the Toyota dealer-who kept it overnight-and didn't charge me anything. They also didn't DO anything. Their advice was to bring it back next time it failed. I was not happy, nor confident that it would not break down in a bad place for me! I took it to Korey, who ran tests, and made an appointment to investigate his idea, and he fixed it for me! The shifter has no "boot" covering the shift mechanism, so grit, a safety pin, and a dime had all fallen inside the mechanism! In at 8 a.m. and done before 3! Korey is the best! Honest, dependable, reasonably priced, and he is "my" mechanic for keeps! Too bad I could not give him more than 5 stars!

Bought a car Dec of 2021 it's has been nothing but issues. Check engine light turned on 3 days after buying due to catalytic converter. 2 days later my muffler fell off. But of course they get you with the "as is" so do yourself a favor don't spend your money here. Major chop shop vibes.

READ THE REVIEWS CLAIMS THE DONT CLEAR CODES BUT HAVE BEEN ACCUSSED OF IT MULTIPLE TIMES.Hard to say you dont do something if multiple people who dont know each other have the same issue.I will never go through these people again!! Saw the reviews but thought my expierience would be different. I was so wrong.i paid 2400 just to have to pay 1200 for motor mounts, 500 on egr valve, 200 on other minor issues that WERE ZIP TIED ON, and now have to pay another 800 for the intake manifold. Ive had the vhc about 2 weeks drove it home thats it!! When i called him told him i didnt want a refund didnt want a new vhc i get it its a used vhc but when i paid 2400 just to pay 2700 on fixing it i thought he could help at least a little. Nope! Alls he had to say was well it sounds like you got everything fixed and that He " only made 200$" . I dont care how much you made. You told us the vhc was fine nothing wrong. You clearly did emission since there good for 2 years. You cant tell me with all these issues one being a lean code it passed but all of a sudden you put a new battery in? You sell cars for a living and you didnt know that would clear codes. WORST PLACE EVER!!!Update since cant reply to comments.Minor issues? 3000$ worth of issues when i had the vhc 2 weeks and drove it once (from your "dealership" to my home is not minor issues and these are not issues that happened for the 15-20 minutes i drove it. What you do is called fraud. Judging by other reviews im not the first person you did this to. You LIED and your not sorry about that. You were asked if anything was wrong with the vhc and you said it was immaculate. Doesn't matter if the vhc is 10, 15, 20 years old if you sell a vhc your supposed to disclose any issues with it. Vhc would have NEVER passed emissions with the codes that were popping up. YOU LIED plain and simple

I bought a Nissan Altima in March 2020. I had to replace the rear tires but I knew that before I bought it. No other problems. No sales pressure at all. I'll probably go see them next time I need another car.

Recently went to Lakeside Auto Sales to check out a car. I was surprised to see that the car was filthy and full of dust and bird poo. The inside was not any better. Not sure why you wouldn't at least take a rag and attempt to wipe some of the dust off the vehicle before having someone look at it. The windshield wipers were totally dry rotted and the tires needed to be replaced. The rear tires were okay, so I am not sure why his "mechanic" couldn't put the newer tires on the front of the car. It also appeared to be leaking oil and had a burning smell after driving it. I was told by the guy selling it that he did not want his cars taken to a mechanic before purchasing! If you a selling a decent vehicle you should be confident in your car! The experience was a shame because I really did like the car and was fairly interested in buying it. But there were way too many red flags and obvious issues with it. The next day I found a 2003 Honda CRV elsewhere, in excellent condition and am relieved I went with my gut and didn't buy from Lakeside Auto.

They sold me a horrible car, with missing pieces, and he refused to do anything about it. Refused to stand by the quality of what he sold us. Please NEVER buy from these people. The Envoy I bought from them barely made it a month. Avoid at all costs. Horribly managed, the guy keeps inventory at his personal property, so no telling what goes on. Again, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I bought a Buick from Lakeside auto sales this last summer. I had to replace the battery a few months after I bought the car but that is all I've had to do. The Buick is still running smooth. Good car, good price.

Lakeside Auto was recommended to me by sister & I was very pleased with the whole transaction. I absolutely love my Explorer. I've had my Explorer for a few months now and it drives perfect I even took it back home to Albuquerque and back to Tucson with no problems! Thanks again Oscar I've already told my friends about you!

My wife bought a car a little over a year ago from here. The next day on our way to my cousins funeral the car popped a check engine light. We took it back and asked what was up. Oscar seemed very nice and offered us to replace the car with the same model, but a little bit newer at no extra cost, but avoided the fact that the code was cleared to sell the car. We got the newer car. Fast forward to today, we have spend over the amount we paid on the car to fix it, and it is still not running. The dealership is dishonest, clears codes to sell cars (which is illegal), and avoids responsibility. But hey, bought it "used, as is," so they are in the clear. Thank you Lakeside Auto for wasting $6,700 of our money. If there was a possibility to rate 0 stars, I would. PS, I love how the owner is dodging responsibility by writing "FAKE REVIEW" on some of the reviews. Don't avoid your mistakes.

I just recently bought a car from Lakeside Auto and I am very satisfied! The owner TA is a really cool guy and takes care of business. I would recommend this place if you're ever looking for a good dependable used car.

Up-front and honest. Pretty good deals to be had, and there was a decent selection on the lot when I purchased a vehicle from them. If you're looking for absolute perfection, buy new, otherwise, used was the way to go!

Lakeside offers used cars that are inspected and repaired to the point of being safe and functional. They offer their vehicles with a warranty. These are used vehicles,... as such they may have some minor issues (that is why they are inexpensive), which the dealer will correct under the warranty. Only a FOOL would buy a used vehicle and decline the warranty. I recommend Lakeside to anyone looking for a good used car... I know that their people are honest and conscientious.
