Store was run down, empty shelves. I went for DVD/CD cases and they don't sell them. Was told to go next door to Walmart. Weird that an electronics store doesn't carry DVD/CD cases.

I purchased a gaming PC and monitor on Best Buy's website September 10, 2023 and picked it up the following day at Wetmore location. First of all, they had no carts to put the heavy items in to bring to my vehicle because they claim they were all stolen . I also purchased a digital download of MS Flight Simulator which would NOT download onto the gaming computer I had just spent $1400 on. So, I called their customer support which I'm assuming they outsourced to the Philippines because I couldn't understand them and they all read from a script. I told them the digital download wouldn't work. They wanted me to take screenshots and send them to an email and wait up to 48 hours for a response. Ummm....not a chance. They refused to refund the money for digital download that wouldn't work. So, I packed up my new computer and monitor and drove back to Best Buy Wetmore Rd location in Tucson to return the almost $1600 purchase. As I'm waiting in line, the Best Buy rep at the customer service desk finished waiting on a customer and then I approached just to have he/she (couldn't tell if it was a man or woman) walk away from the counter and remove their phone and do a little dance move and then returned a couple minutes later to ask me if anything was wrong with system. I said your customer service is horrible so I'm returning everything. They scanned my items and plugged them in to see if they worked then printed a receipt that they placed on the counter and walked away. I asked if I was all set and they didn't say a word. My advice to anyone looking to purchase anything electronic is to just use Amazon instead. I can't believe Best Buy is still in existence

On Tuesday, August 22 I decided to place an order for a 32" tv and a rotating wall mount, and I selected the "free delivery" option as driving with Parkinson's has become more challenging over time. The Best Buy website promised that both items would be delivered the following day. My wife and I waited literally the entire day of Wednesday, August 22 for the delivery truck to arrive. The text sent by Best Buy (or a company they contract with for deliveries) continued to show that we could expect the delivery to arrive on Wednesday until 10:30 pm when we finally went to bed.On Thursday I went to the Wetmore Best Buy location, and the customer service agent, although sympathetic to what we had experienced, stated that it was out of their hands. He said that he had multiple such problems with a delivery company called OnTrac. Apparently Best Buy knows of the issue, but they simply wash their hands of the matter with a rather unconvincing apology.This is one of Best Buy's greatest business shortcomings. They contract with sub-par delivery companies, and then fail to stand by their own "good name." Can you imagine being bumped by an airline with a ticket in your hand, and then being offered nothing more than an apology? Even restaurants understand the importance of establishing and maintaining goodwill with their customers when an order arrives late, or has a significant problem. What is expected is not simple contrition, but restitution.My wife and I spent over ten hours waiting. How much do even entry-level employees at Best Buy make per hour? How about store managers? How about the Best Buy employees who made the decision to contract with OnTrac? I expect compensation, not useless platitudes that do absolutely nothing to correct the situation.One final note. The customer service agent with whom I spoke (Jagadesh) was very helpful and truly sympathetic. He said that he was not given the authority to provide compensation, and I believe him. What he did provide, however, was respect and kindness. Why ever would someone buy a computer at BestBuy? Today, I went To Best Buy to buy an iPad because I had a few questions. (They never got answered because you need to make an appointment with someone who has the answers). I tried to make appointment but was routed to India which is always a waste of time.The process of driving down, waiting, getting frustrated, and driving back consumed a couple hours.After deciding I would never shop with Best Buy again, I got out my phone and ordered the iPad in question and had it delivered from Amazon which took all of 60 seconds. And it will be delivered today AND THE PRICE WAS LESS!!! It turns out any technical questions can be answered quickly, easily and without frustration online. If I am unhappy, I can return it without standing in line and no questions asked.WHY WOULD ANYONE EVER BUY ANYTHING AT 'BEST BUY'.

The last couple of times, I went into the store to buy items. The items that I wanted were only sold online. As I was under time crunch, I need the item asap. And floor stock keep getting smaller, just waste of time as I went to other stores to get the items.

So after buying or trying to buy a few hundred dollars worth of computer parts and accessories i'm asked how many bags to you want. My response is enough to get my items to my car why? Oh we charge 11 cents a bag now. I said ok do you guys donate that money to clean the ocean or something... his response I don't know i just work here. My response OK you know who don't charge 11 cents a bag? AMAZON Don't try and act like you care about the environment only to use it as a money grab I wont be back.

So, I called their Geek Squad for help with an older computer. They senta lovely girl named KateLyn. Not only did I buy a new Apple Computerthrough her, but a $200 contract for the Geek Squad. That would set meup with open techhelp for at least a year.HOWEVER, I was not able to text or phone KateLyn again (no answer),and as for Geek Squad Remote, they are unintelligible and I couldn'task for anything.My advice!! Go directly to APPLE. Their service is wonderful and you willunderstand them.Very unhappy with BEST BUY.

Best BuyThe 1st thing to remember is that everyone is struggling with staff and to be kind to the staff who are there in trying to help people. I found that staff were more than willing to help me and the greeter at the door went out of their way to find someone totally appropriate to give me personal service and help me and get exactly what I wanted when you're older and you can't see very well and you're not really sure about things it's really nice to have a young person who's patient and willing to help you.The store was clean and well organized.Best buy has all kinds of electronic products for modern families and young people.I was looking for some phone accessories and I was able to get help to find exactly what I was looking for. Other times I've gotten help with a small Smart TV and finding it and a camera. Each time there were young people that really knew their area that were available.I've also had my laptop checked out and upgraded there and they did a nice job with that. I find that I can usually get in-and-out in a very timely manner.

Purchased television and all new kitchen appliances including a microwave oven to be installed over the stove. Purchased "total tech" plan for $200. The appliances, with the exception of the microwave, were delivered and installed as promised. According to the delivery crew, the microwave was not provided when they picked up our appliances from Best Buy. It took a while to sort this out, apparently because the delivery guys, who are contractors and not BB employees, were not honest. We went to the store after several unsuccessful phone calls, the manager was very gracious, figured out what had happened, and gave us the microwave. Moral of the story: If your delivery does not have all the items in your order DO NOT sign the form on the screen offered to you by the delivery guys and ask for documentation that your order was incomplete.

Made an appointment a week in advance for a battery replacement. Waited in line for an hour to just be told they don't even have a battery to replace. Avoid this Best Buy at all costs for any customer service or product repairs.

Service Terrible. Go to Costco or Amazon or anywhere else. They wouldn't return my online order because of their bogus system. Manager was arrogant and could have cared less that I would have to come back to return the item. How about an apology and a nominal gift card! These people don't understand that the customer pays for their paycheck!! Cashiers standing around with no customers! Hmmmm. Wonder why???

Best Buy has guaranteed I will no longer shop with them. their level of customer service has declined to the point "that "I'm sorry"is no longer in their companies empathy statements " as I was informed this morning from a representative. I had just informer her as a supervisor that my "tech" had hung up on me after I had corrected him on having the wrong contact number which I had to call 5 times earlier in the week to resolve. Turns out what I was told should have been a simple fix on both my account and order was fixed, only to find out during the techs call, was still NOT CORRECTED. Thus company has gotten so bad. Kniw that after your purchase they will not swevice ANYTHING ELSE. They have made layoffs and the employees and management will pass the buck - around & around & around until you go away. DO NOT BUY THE SEEVICE PLAN. Listen to what others say- IT's really true and appealing. They are not what they used to be. Don't believe me? try to call into CS before you buy with any question and see what happens - it will be worse after you have an order number. AND THRN YOU WILL BE PUT ON FOREVER HOLD, and then disconnected after waiting on hold for 10-15 minutes. FOLKS It's BAD, really bad with this store. So sad to see them turn. I reareky write reviews but just try to call the store and you will see what I mean. there is nobody to help even if you get an answer. Mostly ALL calls are routes to a general number in the middle of the country and nobody there will be able to provide any answers. I implore you to shop elsewhere. and good luck - Best Buy is customer service HELL

Wish I could leave NO STARS. Misogynistic Cowboys are in charge. New policy last year - buy a product & pay for them to get it to work. No customer service nor do these men know how to respect a woman. You're better off using Amazon & paying for help elsewhere.

They want you to sit and wait for service I need help with something that will take a minute yet they want me to wait god knows how long for service then some intimidating person threat ing to throw me out of the store unbelievable rude dont shop here poor poor customer service I remember the old days when you went to a store and they wanted to help you again unless you want to be ignored by the one of two people working don't go here!!!!!! Poor service poor service
