Location is good, with a bunch of good restaurants nearby. There is free parking that accounts for another positive point. The room however, is dated, small, not very clean. The bed and beddings are uncomfortable. The pillows caused us neck pains. They are too worn down. They offer free breakfast- made to order omelettes. I ordered a simple cheese omelette and it was given to me with uncooked cheese. I never came back for that free breakfast again. We tried the evening reception, there was a long line at the bar. They have decent snacks and drinks. The dining tables were sticky. The pool is small, with dated and dirty outdoor furnitures. This stay is not worth the price we paid, and the points I used as a HH member. We're very disappointed, and couldn't wait to go home. I'm glad this trip was not a vacation. We came only to tour U of A.

The hotel was packed for our Saturday night stay. A great place for families and there is plenty of room for sleeping and good breakfast selections. The rooms were updated since my last stay 9 years ago. The wood furniture is the same but the carpet, paint, shower, and soft goods are relatively new. In my opinion, the social hour can be skipped. I would rather pay for decent beer or wine versus Bud and Sutter's. The salty snacks are a poor dinner replacement. The views of the foothills from some rooms and the lounge are extremely beautiful. This is my favorite Tucson neighborhood.

Beautiful hotel. Love the property and the mountain views from the bar and dining area. The pool was very nice especially since it was heated. Breakfast cooked to order was delicious. They make great omelets!

The main issue is that this place is priced like a resort but it is not a resort. It has nice decor and a good breakfast and happy hour but seems like a standard hotel with better than average complimentary breakfast not someplace where one would expect to pay top dollar. ( our weekdays stay averages $380 a night- early March ) It's fine if you don't have unrealistic expectations

There are several useful stores, salons, restaurants- and the Embassy Suites. So, there is lots to do within walking distances when you're staying at the hotel.

This hotel is in a very convenient location for staying in north Tucson, near hiking trails, several good restaurants and the La Encantada mall; however it is starting to look a bit worn, plus housekeeping is only available by appointment and north facing rooms can be noisy. On the plus side the rooms are large. We spent 3 nights here and were able to obtain a top floor as requested though not a quiet location ( also requested) as it did face north towards Skyline, a busy road. The glass insulation on the windows was pretty good and with earplugs or the HVAC running we didn't hear much traffic, though a high speed motorcycle and early morning trucks did wake us up. Due to the road noise we did not enjoy our patio and view of Pusch Ridge as much as we would have liked. There is good insulation between rooms as we didn't hear any neighbors. We found the lack of housekeeping a bit off-putting as we had to ask each day for new coffee packets and cups, waiting in line at the front deck. Note that this seems to be a new Hilton policy as we recently stayed at a Doubletree with the same policy, likely this is due to staffing issues, but it is also a money saving tactic. Our room was near a corner and had a bit of an unusual layout with the bath, bedroom and living room in a circular fashion. I really liked this initially, but because they use full size doors for all the closets and rooms, we were constantly fighting with a closest door hitting the bathroom door and the bathroom door hitting the shower door if both were open. Given the space, there were not many other design options other than to eliminate some doors. The room was clean; however there were scuffs on all the walls and doors which needed to be painted over and we found the sofa to be a bit uncomfortable as the cushions kept riding forward. The bed was a bit sunken on one side but passable. They do not have down pillows, only polyester type, so if you need to sink your head and neck into a pillow, bring your own.The breakfast was standard Embassy Suites with good cooked to order egg dishes plus some buffet items, full size muffins, oatmeal with all the toppings and some mini yogurts. Fruit was a bit hit and miss, bananas were only offered on one of our three days for example. The evening happy hour featured bags of chips, tri-color tortilla chips and dip, and crudités. The breakfast and front desk staff were very pleasant. I would stay here again after they remodel but likely not before that time as there are other options for just a bit more $.

This Avis is a joke. Don't rely on them to have keys for your car ready.

We had a pleasant four night stay with our dog. The staff was universally pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Having guest laundry facilities on each floor is a great bonus, as is the cooked to order breakfast. We didn't take advantage of happy hour, but it looked very popular. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The room was clean and the shower was heavenly. There are two dog areas with poo bag dispensers and disposal cans, but they are covered with coarse gravel and very sparsely planted. The property is safe, clean, comfortable bed, great shower, ample parking, friendly staff. The only thing that would have made the stay a bit nicer was having trash emptied or a way to empty our trash (we did take our take-out food containers to the large bins in front of the property), and recycling.

I'm usually pretty positive in the things I review, but this review and one other warranted a poor review. I've stayed at this Hotel quite a few times over the years, but it has really deteriorated over those years. I'm guessing that Hilton will be moving this from their Embassy Suites portfolio soon. It is certainly below the Hilton standard. Our room, which I was told upon check in was a free upgrade for us was very worn. All of the furniture was heavily scratched and/or stained. One of the electric outlets was broken. Another outlet didn't work and I had to change the lamp to a different outlet for it to work (no, it wasn't because the wall switch was off). Finally, the toilet seat in our bathroom was very worn and the surface of the bathroom door was peeling. We just checked in, so it's possible I'm in for a few more surprises. There were a few positive items about the room; the shower and the bathroom mirrors had been updated and the ac worked. (Last time we were here the ac didn't work and they couldn't fix it.) Gotta say, the large sign on the entrance from the parking lot warning guests that they are responsible for any losses from car break ins seemed a little ominous

I have been here since the 22nd of August, about three weeks. I went down to the front desk just now to ask for a couple of bottles of water. I was told they were only given at check in time and that if I wanted water I could purchase them. I told the young man at the counter that the guy last night gave me water and he said well what was his name ? Who....... who who who who who who who was he? Please don't fire the guy giving me water ! Dear Lord ! Let's not break the Hilton for giving water out to people that have been here for 3 weeks so far ! Unbelievable!
