Unhappy with the service from a well known compound pharmacy.
My partner has ED, he’s at the point where injections are needed. Called pharmacy to remind them it was needed 2/5/2025. Reed’s records say 2/25/2025. Dr appt needed to be changed because injection would not arrive for visit.
Dr appt changed to following week, fed ex lost the shipment coming to Reed’s.
Next appt where doc is available is 5/7/2025.

My doctors appointment was Feb 5. Called Reeds the Fri before and could only connect to the voice mail. Left a message with number and message, no return call. Called the Monday before and the person I talked to said my prescription was scheduled for the 25th of Feb, 20 days after the appointment they were informed of. Managed to reschedule doctor for Feb 10 and I get a call the Sat before that the drug was lost by fedx. When I Finally get to pickup my medicine and request 25 dollars of for the stress and aggravation was told no and the pharmacy was loosing money already. I did get a grand total of $7.50 off the purchase. Felt that the pharmacy was not interested in happy customers especially since this is the only one in the Tucson area that can fill this medicine. So why should they bother.

My doctor failed to push the prescription request through for a controlled substance she wants me to start taking. So the receptionist with poor manners repeated several times that they didn’t have a prescription for me and that if I had a doctor who did they would’ve been told they don’t sell that medication. Thank goodness Prescription Lab Compounding Pharmacy was able to answer my questions about pricing and carries what I needed! They also offered to confirm a price and that I can use my flexible spending card to pay out of pocket. It’s so nice being treated with basic human decency! I realize dusty ole Tucson is filled with individuals with addiction issues, but treating a potential customer like a criminal is just a poor business practice. Excuse the hell out of me for getting care from a professional for my extremely treatment resistant depression. I had a little discrimination with my coffee this morning. Kudos to you rude person!

When I first was introduced to bio- identical hormone therapy I was thrilled that there was a chance of relief from the symptoms of my lagging hormones as I dealt with menopause. I went to Dana Reed as I heard she was very versed on the subject of hormone replacement therapy. This was Ten years ago or more. Our meeting was informative, professional if not a bit ridged and cold as memory serves. I started the therapy which was a combination of Estrogen/Progesterone/Testosterone my mood improved and my body felt less run down. However I began to experience eczema in my scalp and Canker sores in my mouth as if I had eaten too much citrus. Dana recommended we remove the Testosterone. Which did decrease the eczema but did not relieve it all together, the canker soars remained and were a constant annoyance.
LONG STORY SHORT: DUE TO LOGISTICS, DOUBTS ABOUT THE CHARACTER OF THE INDIVIDUAL I WAS GIVING MY BUSINESS TO. AND WONDERING IF THESE WERE THE BEST QUALITY PRODUCT I COULD BE USING??” I HAD NO IDEA I THOUGHT THESE SIDE EFFECTS WERE JUST WHAT I HAD TO DEAL WITH TO REEP THE BENEFITS OF HORMONE THERAPY.
BUT I WAS WRONG!!!
I SWITCHED COMPOUNDING PHARMACIES. THE RESULTS ARE REMARKABLE.
PRESCRIPTION LAB ON GRANT IS AMAZING!!!
CLEAN FACILITY, FRIENDLY STAFF. THERE PRODUCT WITH THE TESTOSTERONE IN IT CAUSES NO ECZEMA- yay eczema gone!!!
THE FLAVOR OF THE DISSOLVABLE TROCHE IS ACTUALLY DELICIOUS AND SOMEHOW CAUSES NO CANKER SOARS.. yay canker soars all gone!!
I DID NOT KNOW WHAT I DID NOT KNOW!!
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND SEEKING OUT A DIFFERENT COMPOUNDING PHARMACY THAN REEDS COMPOUNDING PHARMACY!!!!!
It took me over ten years of inconveniences and discomfort to realize there are better quality people and products. Hopefully my ignorance will help someone!

The girl on the phone who took my prescription order was respectful and pleasant.
The order was filled very quickly within one day.
No problems there.

The girl at the counter was very rude and disrespectful.
I don't appreciate that. This is not the only game in town and I'm not sure I'll be coming back. Also they should accept a insurance which they don't.

This place offers much. Great supplements, compounded animal meds, bio identical hormones, referrals to good docs, blood testing and just a good vibe. Yes they're busy. No they aren't snarky. Patience though-- plan your orders because I don't believe this is the kind of place where you get same day service on custom blends. They do work their hardest though. Pricing.... Well this type of pharmacy isn't inexpensive and they don't use insurance

It has been the best I have found in service and excellent people. I have spoken with them by phone from Hermosillo and they are very friendly and polite. They always look for ways to help and solve. Congratulations!

Their prices are super high. Most mail order compounding pharmacies are priced far lower even with shipping.

The Sustained Release Thyroid Hormone replacement medication does not work. I gave them a 2nd chance for a better batch with a 2nd very expensive 90 day supply and I feel just as sick as I did on the first batch. I have been using clean compounded thyroid medication for many years while living in other States, but this felt like I was taking a Placebo. I was also never asked about what fillers to use either as I have in the past at other Compounding pharmacies. Having an option for delivery was the only positive thing. Bloodwork confirmed I am severely Hypothyroid now since starting this medication.

Just starting using Reed's for a prescription at the beginning of year. They are wonderful! Super knowledgeable, super friendly and prompt with refills. Highly recommended!
