Reid Park Ramada #1 is most definitely an oasis in the desert and is very well maintained. It is a wonderful place to walk with family and friends, featuring a large lake with waterfalls, many birds and turtles, and a beautiful rose garden. The park offers a very nice picnic area and clean restrooms. It is a pet and dog friendly area. There are wonderful play areas for children, with separate sections for younger and older kids, though adults are advised to pay extra attention. Some visitors note that the kids' play area can be dirty and could use more frequent cleaning, suggesting that adults bring disinfecting wipes. The hard work by the park crew and groundskeepers is second to none, with staff seen taking care of the ball field, pruning trees, filling potholes, and seeding the beautiful grass. The clean-up after events is excellent, helping to keep this a beautiful oasis for the citizens of Tucson. It is a great place to have a blast.
