Booked a few nights stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. The condition of the property was definitely needing attention. Especially the room. Large gap under the door which allowed a lot of hallway traffic noice to be heard. I did express my displeasures with a staff member but these were not fixes to be done right away.

It took so much for me to write a review. The pool isn’t available at this time. There’s electrical issues in the room as I have been shocked while going to turn on or off the light. I reported and more than 24hrs later and maintenance hasn’t shown up. The room key gets deactivated if it’s close to your cell phone so I have had to go 3xs or more a day to the front desk so they could reset the key. They need to upgrade its so old. I called the front desk more than 24hrs ahead to schedule housekeeping and the day of I waited almost 30 minutes later called the front desk and she said they weren’t able to come today. I was livid. Why wouldn’t you call I waited in my room all day and this wasn’t communicated. Please go else where as customer service isn’t a priority here.Responding to Lupita: I dont understand how you responded faster to a review than to a request from a guest whom is currently staying at your hotel. I have requested a minimum of 2xs to speak to you and was told you are only in on Mondays. Destiny, the front desk personnel, just walked up to my room to provide me with yet another key because I couldn't enter my room again even after I walked downstairs and had Destiny reset the key. I am aware that I am not the only hotel guest with these issues. I also understand that this is a conversation to have with the general manager. I hope to speak to you soon. I provided Destiny with my availability.

Rooms are a bit noisy, I could hear someone in the room above us stomping around at 3am. Otherwise the hotel was good, and the room was clean. Typical continental breakfast.

Overall a great stay at this residence, a little far from food options but really not too bad. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and spacious. Great work to this team!

Stayed at Residence Inn Tucson 8/25/23, arrived late around 9 pm, traveled from El Paso, TX, and stayed here for the night before heading to Tempe/Phoenix (The Valley)Check-in was very easy. Check out being at 12 noon is a plus.Room: Furniture seems a bit outdated. The room is equipped with a kitchen that includes silverware, cooking utensils, pots & pans, etc.The couch design is not the best and is at a slanted angle, so the couch cushions easily sink and become uneven. Bathroom design is also a bit outdated since it is a standard bath tub/shower. TV set up is theee worst as you can only swivel the TV so much, and it will not swivel a full 180 degrees to really allow you to watch TV while laying in bed. Lastly, the next morning, there was a small spider in the restroom (attached video).Property: Property outside is nice. They have a basketball court, large premises with multiple seating areas outside. Also, have a very small pool (outside). Location is in a quiet area by the airport but next to what seems to be a warehouse district.Breakfast: Standard hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, egg/cheese muffins, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, and waffle makers to allow you to make your own waffle. The seating area is fairly large and will accommodate a good number of people. The reason for my 4 stars is because of the room and the furniture being a bit outdated, and there being only one TV in the room that can not fully swivel to allow you to watch TV in bed and breakfast was not great the morning I was there as the sausage was not fully cooked. I would stay again, and overall, it was a pleasant stay, just not 5 stars.

I just had my worst night’s stay at a Marriott property in my over 30 years as a loyal customer. There was a loud party in a couple of rooms in my hall which spilled into the hallway with screaming, giggling girls running down the hall and doors constantly slamming shut. Also loud voices in the patio outside. Placed three calls to the front desk between 11:15 and 1:30 and was politely assured security would address the disturbance but I don’t think anything got better until everyone passed out drunk. Do not stay here if you expect a quiet and peaceful night’s sleep.

For Residence Inn it does not meet the expectations. I had room at the end, but could not in for the parking because the card reader was defective. When I wanted to sleep, the shower lamp/ventilation had a high and hard beep. I got at staff initiative another room near a working door and no beeps. But moving when you wanted to see is no fun.He told me they had no maintenance on the locks, which was clear. Also around the pool the locks were shaky. The bed is fine as always. But overall the price/experience is not good. Too bad.

I expected MORE from a Marriott property. I’m a Titanium member and so it goes to show how often I book with Marriott. That being said, I was passing through Tucson for an overnight stay as I continue through to Texas. I went with the Residence Inn because they had availability for a late night walk-in. I was given room 115. What a horrible smell this room had. Like mold and cigarettes. The toilet does not flush and the and there is moisture/mold spots on the ceiling in bathroom. I felt like I was at a Motel 6. I should be the one getting paid to stay there. Not to mention the graffiti writing on the wall as I walk in.

Nice place, but extremely loud! Rooms next to mine and above my room are very loud; thin walls. If you have to go to bed early, I'd recommend someplace else.
