I went in today, just to kind of browse. Look at some things and get coconut milk. As I was searching for the coconut milk, I must’ve looked suspicious. I started noticing that there was a guy that was following me for what reason who knows it got to the point where I decided that I was gonna get behind him because I didn’t feel safe After noticing his behavior. I figured he was loss prevention. I approached him asked him he said no he wasn’t loss prevention but when I pressed him and told him, I knew he was, he admitted to it. He told me he didn’t work for me and he didn’t care. I tried to do self check out because the manager was there by the name of John, John had no concern for the customer, me in this case. I told him this dude‘s been following me around. I don’t like it. I feel like it’s harassment and John said so you’re mad that he’s doing his job? Obviously, I’m frustrated. He didn’t care. I was loud and I did cuss that being said John didn’t handle it whatsoever. I called and he hung up on me if they can’t have managers that can handle adult situations then they shouldn’t have managers. And they definitely should not be following people around Safeway because it looks more like profiling than anything else. Super disappointed.

Safeway has quality fresh produce and meats as well as friendly staff. If you have one locally I highly recommend over other grocers.

Discovered they weren't staffing ANY regular checkout lanes. Abandoned my cart and left. I won't be Safeway's free labor, allowing them to hire fewer people. It's bad enough they want to merge and create a monopoly. (Sure, it'll lower prices. For 5 minutes, until they raise them even higher then where they started.)
Unethical company all around.

The Employee & manager were very helpful. But ! I hate those digital coupons... 8/14/24. Still excellent... Getting to understand those crazy digital.. still don't like them...we should all be paying the same..

Sarah R at the bakery was incredibly rude, I asked for a cake and she seemed so bothered by my presence. Nasty attitude I also mentioned to her that something was leaking out of the fridges and she said “I can’t do anything about it” how about you mop or tell someone or put up a sign…

I love to shop at Safeway I save like no other places I have ever shopped at. I even shop here on a weekly basis and the staff are nice and helpful.
However the pickup orders could use some help. Most of the time my bread is smashed and my other food items are overloaded into one bag and are extremely heavy I
never had them even double bagged to balance out the weight. Totally unacceptable.

Comically rude deli staff. We waited for ten minutes without so much as an acknowledgement by the chicken counter, only for us to then give up and leave and the guy behind the counter was so nasty to us. Safeway customer service is always poor but never to this level. If you notice you're wasting deli food every day @ management, it's because you're staff are awful and don't want to actually do any work.

We were at the your store today and my wife is a diabetic and was having a low sugar. I want to commend two kids at the Starbucks in the store for helping her she was having a low sugar and needed something quick. Aiden and Jack helped my wife find the right drink that will get the sugar back to safe levels. Thanks for all your help

I used to go here every week. One morning I know I wasn't looking my best but I needed to use the restroom. I asked the first person I saw. They told me where it is n it needed a code. So I asked n she said she couldn't give it to me. If she wasn't going to offer it then she shouldn't have mentioned the bathroom in the first place. I ask someone else if there's a reason y someone wouldn't offer n they said there's a lot of homeless around. They said I don't look suspicious n they wouldn't know y she'd be so rude. I'm never coming back if I'm going to be profiled so critically.
