This is the best pharmacy I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. The staff is tremendously helpful, cooperative and considerate. They answer the phone!!! They treat you as a patient. They are empathetic and courteous. What a rarity in this polarized, hateful society. Easy way to shop for groceries and pick up medications at the same time. Believe me, I will not get my prescriptions anywhere else.

Michelle helped me not feel like a burden when I made a mistake on which card I used to make a purchase. She helped me more then she knows. I will always have good things to say about her!

5 stars for Joanne. She had to deal with some complicated insurance/manufacturer issues for me and she had amazing follow-through and kept a great attitude despite how much stress working in pharmacy can be. Also: 5 stars for the rest of the staff who have filled RXs quickly when supply was available.

I have only been to the Pharmacy here at Safeway to get COVID-19 vaccines. It was easy to schedule my appointment online, fill out all the appropriate questions and print the necessary paperwork work at home. At the Pharmacy the people were great and easy to qork with.

Not many issues to mention other than some meds are filled late and when they are late there's usually an excuse following it.

They are wrapping the pay machines in plastic thinking that is safe. Everyone still touching same plastic wrap. Why not just clean the machines after each use?

I came here to pick up a prescription that had been called in. The employee was ignoring the phone and had not checked the voicemail, so she tried to tell me she didn't have a prescription for me and that I should call my doctor. I asked if she checked the voicemail to which she replied, "I'm working alone". I told her I had a very sick family member at home and needed it, and she sighed and said she would check. Of course there was a voicemail for the Rx. Even though the voicemail had all patient information on it (I was there when it was called in) she asked me for all of the information again while she wrote it down. I'm not sure why she would not write it down from the voicemail?? Then she told me she would have it in 10-15 minutes. I walked around for 20 minutes and came back. In an aggravated tone she simply told me "I don't have it". As in, the medication was not in stock! She hadn't bothered to call or page over the intercom for me to return to the pharmacy. I asked why she wouldn't have checked for the medication BEFORE telling me to come back in 15 minutes. She gave another curt, "I'm working alone". Ok?? Ske offered to call across the street to Walgreens to ask them to fill it. As she was on hold with Walgreens she asked if my family member's "real name" was something completely different than was left on the voicemail and what I had given. NO?!? She tells me she can't find him in the system. I already told her he had never had a prescription filled at Safeway before, so she wouldn't find him in any system. Then she wanted his work phone number and address so she could call and "pretend"... at that point I just cut her off and asked her why she was behaving this way. She kept saying she couldn't find him in "the system". I just walked away and reported her to the store manager. I went over to Walgreens and explained the entire situation and asked if they had been able to transfer the Rx. They had without any issue and I was able to get it within 20 minutes. The medication was Theraflu. Not a controlled substance. I don't know why the pharmacy tech was acting like she was, but I will never go to Safeway pharmacy again. As all of this was happening she made it clear that she was very irritated and kept repeating she was working alone. Until the very end of the interaction I was polite and patient, so her behavior and attitude were strange and then shocking. Time to get new staff, Safeway Pharmacy. That woman is unprofessional and seemed disoriented and confused. NOT someone I want handling my medication!!!!

Be extremely careful using any Safeway Pharmacy in Tucson Arizona!!!! A pharmacy tech that worked at "Golf Links and Wilmot Safeway pharmacy" and other locations has gotten away with being under the influence of "street drugs" and making a "threat about tampering with someone's prescriptions to hurt them" she still works for Safeway so be extremely careful!!!! I would have never known about this if it wasn't for my friends from church and after looking up all the problems at "golf-links and Wilmot Pharmacy"!!!!

I slipped on a water spill, which was covered with a floor mat, and now over a year later, I'm stuck with medical bills because safeways insurance adjuster doesn't want to settle on a fair amount to cover my bills - which they requested I have. I still have pain and swelling occasionally on the affected knee and all I want is a fair settlement to cover my expenses. they don't care about their customers or their safety
