The store is great most of the time. Except for the Starbucks. They sell water that looks like coffee but doesn't taste like coffee. The Albertsons down the street much better

I don't understand places that close their doors significantly earlier than the posted closing time. Arriving at 9:50 pm is more than enough time for me to knock out a short list of 5 items. But not if you've already shut and disabled the doors with a worker leaning with his back on the doors barring entry. Change your closing time to 9:50am or stop pulling stunts like this. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because I shop here a few times a week and usually without issue. I will say that the digital coupon system requiring use of the app in addition to the customer phone number is quite tedious and probably discourages most people from actually achieving full savings. I know it did for me for years.

Store is always low in stock.
I don't shop there due to exorbitant pricess anymore.a cart man ran his carts in my care leaving a dent he was oblivious & never said sorry. I should of gone in store & complained

This store rewards loyal employees by firing them and steals money employees had already earned. Then they reward the shoplifters! I cannot support this store

This store continues to choose shoplifters over loyal employees and customers. Recently, they let go an employee who had been employed for over 5 years. And they also kept his vacation pay that the employee already earned. I would not support this store!!

This is not the best Safeway we’ve been to and the selections are somewhat limited but the store is clean and the produce and meats are fresh. It serves its basic purpose just fine.

For the life of me I can't figure out why Safeways seem to be hiding hand baskets for their customers. I don't need to push around a large cart, but I'm also limited in how many items I'll buy if I carry things by hand. Retail shopping has gotten so bizarre in the last few years.

Too expensive to shop. I went in to get food and a bottle of milk . The man who bagged my purchase did not put the bottle of milk that I purchased into the bag. All he was worried about was the dinner rush. When I got home the milk was missing. Your bagger needs to make sure that we get our purchases bagged and make sure nothing was left out.

I’m quite literally shocked at my experience with the bakery here. Placed an order over the phone, then went to pick up the cake the next day. Cake was not at all what I’d requested even though I was exceptionally detailed over the phone and the order form (filled out by female employee) notated those details except for poor spelling. The picture is the cake that I was handed… I am appalled to say the least. Manager was not able to meet me to negotiate price or refund and this was for an event that was today to celebrate a wedding. Embarrassing that we have to show our family and friends this cake. Please do better Safeway.

Love some of the really good deals / prices they tend to have on eggs milk butter juice and especially the ice cream.. but what sucks is that majority of their products are more expensive than most stores and having to clip the digital coupons and not being always able to have access to a phone.
But I'm pretty sure they donate some items like store brand cereal various bread tuna packets ramen noodles and various canned goods to a church that has a food pantry. In which I really appreciate.

It was my first time visiting this location and the undercovered loss prevention staff followed my relentlessly. I do not steal. I don't look like I steal. I was raised right. No one could pay me any amount of money to do wrong. He followed me from isle to Isle one of the worse experiences of my life. I will never shop there. 6/13/2024
