Safeway on Broadway and Houghton has the best employees. I am 80 years old and gentleman box boy John offered and helped put groceries in vehicle, I had cases of water and it's difficult for me. Thanks you for having thoughtful employees.

Friendliest employees, great produce section, and lots of organic options. I have made this my pharmacy too, due to the ease of getting a prescription filled while shopping. So glad it is my neighborhood supermarket! The memory of days of Haggen being forced on us are slowly fading away even though the floral department never fully recovered.

Noticed that the deli has Chinese food options now so we were excited to try some for dinner one night. We were very disappointed in everything that we chose for our family meal. The egg rolls were very over cooked and tough to chew. Noodles were very salty. We were very disappointed.

Store Director TJ loomed over us while attempting to correct an online order that was billed incorrectly. Love Safeway and the ability to fix mistakes, but not a fan of angry man energy.

As a customer the deli people here are amazing they are all very kind and good at their job except for Tanner... Tanner is too good at his job and in dire need of promotion, truly upper management material.

I've always found this Safeway, Broadway and Houghton to be my favorite. I live closer to another one, yet shop at this Safeway. Staff here are always friendly and helpful. Also one of the cleanest I've been in.

We've been shopping at this Safeway for years and it's the typical store with mediocre to average service. That was until my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting liquor dept manager Jason Dollins. What a polite, professional and courteous gentleman. It was so refreshing to deal with an experienced pro who actually knows about the products in his area. He worked with us to find several amazing wines that worked perfectly for our dinner party. It was like having our own personal sommelier! So knowledgeable and not at all pushy. He listened to our likes and dislikes and made marvelous recommendations. Not at all what we expected from Safeway and a very pleasant surprise. Mr. Dollins is our go-to wine pro now and we look forward to seeing him on our next visit to the store.

We've been loyal customers of Safeway for nearly a decade (yes, we know there was that like name-change blip), and it's high time I share why this store has become such an integral part of our lives in Tucson as evidenced by two simple but routine interactions in the last month. These times it was Safeway's bakery reinforced why it's a go-to for our celebrations - be it cupcakes for our kids' parties or grabbing those last-minute donuts for our son's class - seriously, the gentleman there got us 3 dozen in less than an hour (talk about helping a dad save the day).Every time we walk in, I am met with employees who are not just helpful but genuinely enthusiastic about assisting. Their service isn't just professional; it’s personal. They’ve seen our family grow and have been part of our community's fabric since we made Tucson our home. It's these consistent, positive experiences that make Safeway stand out.For all of us that often receive compliments for the great meals and gatherings hosted, it is easy to bask in the appreciation, the truth is Safeway deserves a huge part of the credit.
