This is such a hidden gem full of historical significance, a gem museum, articles from the past, and photographs. There are clean restrooms, a nice cafe, and beautiful architecture. I thoroughly enjoyed the courtroom audio show. This is a must see when you are in the area.

NOT for children apparently. We were welcomed with open arms, and there is an exhibit at toddler height to slide 2 inch thick plexiglass animals back and forth, an interactive exhibit. However, apparently you are not allowed to slide the animals or press any buttons. We were rudely stared down and followed throughout the exhibit, asked to not to slide objects or press buttons. What are the buttons for? Laughter is not permitted as well. Really confusing and disappointing place, I can’t see how it represents Arizona well to visitors. Not a family friendly space.

This place was great. They have tons of info on things to do in Tucson and surrounding areas. Maps, guides, restaurants! Whatever you are interested in they have recommendations. Visitor or native Tucsonians should definitely visit.

Great little heritage center in a historic Pima County Court house building that has been beautifully preserved. Recommend for tourists and residents who want to understand the history of our portion of the Sonoran Desert ? Also has a gift shop with tastefully curated and reasonably priced souvenirs.

Thanks to the two ladies who provided us with comprehensive information about the local area and personal recommendations for what to do during our stay in Tuscon. The exhibits here were simple to understand and put a lot of what we saw during our stay into context. Lovely building and the blue line walk (paper maps available and the blue line is painted on the footpath) is worth doing if you have a spare hour.
