Sunset Pointe Park is a nice, quiet area park tucked away from the hustle. It is a big space with a nice field and really nice grass. The park is super kid friendly with a fun playground for the kids and swings. It is dog-friendly, but dogs must be leashed. There are picnic areas with two gazebos and ramadas to reserve. There is plenty of shade around the edges and under shade trees, but the field area does not get shade and it could use a few more trees. There are good bathrooms. It is a great place to bring a chair or a blanket.
Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed at all times (per the signage).
Picnic area: Plenty of shade, but nothing to block the breeze. Hard for lighting birthday candles.

After a storm, it retained water on the field for a bit. Natural expectation

Cute park. Can get some shade around the edges of the park. But the field area does not get shade. Also, the pictures of the dragon is down the street from the park, not at the park. And the pool is an HOA pool for the neighborhood and not a public pool.
